Terrible
I have both versions of the medela cups. The first ones don't have these rings, the ones for sale now do have these rings. The new cups are terrible! Milk spills while emptying, and there's an extra part to wash. They still advertise it as only three parts to wash, but that is false advertising! I'm really bummed that medela changed from the original ones that were honestly awesome.

Why?! Just why?
I hate the new cups. It comes with these rings and it's another EXTRA part to wash. I wish I would've known because I honestly would've chosen a different breast pump. They semi leak and sometimes don't close all the way. Even after triple checking that they are in the right spot. They're sometimes challenging to remove and put back on. It drives me nuts. Especially since I am an over producer. This new freestyle pump has made things so complicated. I do not recommend.

O-ring, cups not included
I seriously thought this came with the actual back part of cups, but it's literally just the silicone. Why wouldn't you include the collection cups?? I have the original cups so does this fit those cups with the new shield??
