Medela Pump and Save Breast Milk Storage Bags, 20 ct

They’re very easy to use and store. The only complaint I have is that they are not accurate in the amounts. I often have to pour the milk into a bottle and then into another bag to store so I know how much I’m freezing at a time. Minor problem in my opinion.

I used this product while I pumped at work for my first child. It was amazing and easy. I am now pumping for my second child. I wish it was still available in larger quantities.

I’ve used these in the past and needed to get stocked back up. This product is so convenient for busy moms trying to pump.

Exactly what i needed to make pumping easier

I purchased this as a way to decrease the time spent pumping. It works, however what is not made clear is that it's not a closed system. The connector simply hangs on an open bag making it very easy for the milk to spill. You have to be sitting upright and still for it to work correctly. In the end, I never ended up using them because of this. It was supposed to make pumping more efficient and honestly just turned it into more of a hassle. I thought it could be a good alternative to some of the more expensive pump into a bag systems but it misses the mark. I don't recommend this product.

This bag is great for the convenience if you forget a bottle at home but for me it ends there. Do to the shape of the bag you have to be extra careful not to overfill the bag even a little bit otherwise when you go to seal it closed you will end up with milk pouring out. The 5 ounce size is not large enough if you produce a lot of milk like myself. There are times I can get out 4-5oz from one breast so it is time consuming when I have to stop and put on a new bag when I am on my 15 minute break at work. They also only have one zipper which I do not care for. The other bags I use have two and prevent leaks. I was rushed and did not get the entire zipper zipped so when I placed this in the freezer laying down (I like to freeze mine flat to save freezer space) milk poured out everywhere. They are too pricey to not be very efficient. I will stick to my Lansinoh bags and leave a bottle at work just in case I ever forget one again.

I was on a business trip and lost over 9 oz because the bags would not seal properly. The first one leaked on my first day, so I was extra cautious on the remaining days, and yet, I lost another 5 ozs which soaked through my cooler and everything else in my bag. Not cool. I've since gone back to Lasinoh.

For the price these should be spectacular but are far from that! They are small, if you fill the full 5 oz in them they are difficult to zip shut without getting milk in the zipper. B/c they are so small with wide bottom the milk freezes in a rounded shape and it's not easy to store frozen milk then. The plastic material is also crinkly and noisy which is just another thing that bugs me about these. There are much better out there for A LOT less. Spend your money wisely and do no purchase these.

Does not fit all Medela pumps as advertised. Impossible to use with the Medela Pump In Style. Almost impossible to pour into and from.

Only giving 1 star because the adapters do not fit my newer model medela breast pump. I prefer the parents choice bags over these bags as well.
