These are long-lasting, top quality compression hose. I buy 2 pairs at a time, alternating the pairs every day and hand washing them. Used this way, they last for a year with full compression. (They can be used longer with lesser compression. ) I have used this product for 25 years, and they have never gotten a run or a hole. As far as fit, when my doctor 1st prescribed them, my lower leg was measured for a proper fit. I've been using the same size ever since.
Quality, Compression and shipping all excellent I have been wearing Medivan Plus Knee High 20-30 mm. both closed toe and Open Toe for more than ten years . At 93. , it's difficult to put them on and off, but I manage. Theses stockings keep my legs from swelling. They are perfect for me
The pair that I received from getting the correct size are great. However, the pair that I sent back 1-7-26 has not been corrected to my VISA account. I had ordered the wrong size originally is the reason I sent them back, getting the correct size.
I have bought a variety of support knee highs but none can compare to the quality of Mediven. The fabric is not rough. They are much easier to put in than other brands and they last a very long time.
I ordered my normal socks and then I thought I was going to get a discount for a second pair that popped up. No watch what you hit it wasn't the sock I usually get and then I had to return and got charged for the return of 6. 95 which sucks. So be careful on what you have on line to order and make sure its correct.
If what you want is a good product with exceptional customer service, For Your Legs is the place. I'm 5 ft 10”, 185 lbs, size 4 fits well. Ordered the wrong size at first and they were great and expedient to make the exchange seamless.
I like this brand but still have issues with the stockings rolling up on my foot. I also purchased a closed toe pair but they're really difficult to get on & off. Compression is good & keeps my swelling under control.
Once I have braved the process of putting on these stockings, they are excellent! Comfortable, do their job well, and barely visible. However as an aging woman with serious arthritis in hands and shoulders, putting them on is very difficult, despite use of silk socks, a device, and gloves. I wish there were a better means of getting them on that woud not exhaust me!
I purchased the Mediven Plus Knee High 20-30 mmHg Open Toe medical stockings, hoping they would not cause the same breakout reactions as other compression stockings have in the past. Unfortunately, after wearing one for only a couple of hours, I began to feel the familiar discomfort of a rash forming, which confirmed that these also triggered a reaction for me. To give some context, I am 49 years old, 5'10", and weigh a consistent 155 lbs. I walk an average of 20 to 30 miles a day as I work from a treadmill desk to manage my venous insufficiency, which is critical for preventing leg swelling if I stand or sit for too long. I recently underwent venous ablation on both legs, and I needed these stockings to really work, as walking constantly is starting to cause knee issues. Unfortunately, despite trying both expensive and budget options, all compression stockings, including these, have caused me to break out. I'm frustrated and disappointed, as I have yet to find a solution that provides the medical support I need without causing a reaction.
