Great rollator for the money as far as I'm concerned, and I had a pretty fast delivery from Wally's. The size makes it compact enough to navigate around my apartment, it very easily folds for transport, and it's lighter than my first model. I also think it's pretty sturdy for a folding unit. The wheels are rubbery (not hard plastic), and the breaks work great, it has much better traction on my tile floors. ***I will never buy another one of the other style of rollator - one that folds front-to-back, they are so clunky to transport. The left/right folding of this Euro type rollator is so much easier to fold and transport. ***I haven't seen a superior product out there that's a better value.
I am very pleased with the braking system on this walker. The brakes on my old walker did not work very well, which is why I decided to upgrade to a different brand. This one did not disappoint! It's so easy to get around. The tires are bigger and not made with a hard plastic making it easier to move on the grass and/or gravel. The only con I have is that the seat height is not adjustable.
Easy to assemble. It's sturdier than most.
Received on time as described. Simple assembly. Excellent quality. Compared to a friends $300 unit. It is very comparable. Very stable, good looking, solid quality. Durability, time will tell. I expect the story to be positive.
Pretty good love it !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My father has Parkinsons and has progressed to a walker full time. We have gone through about 5 different walkers to find one that is rigid enough for his weight and instability but also light enough for him to get in and out of the trunk and my mother as well. She is 5 ft and very fragile :). When I tell you this walker is a game changer...it is much lighter than the last one he had that had bigger wheels, which is a necessity getting around from the house to garage, stairs, etc... it has a wide enough seat to where my over 240lb husband sat in it and was comfortable and supported! It folds up very easily with the pull of the handle and can be opened very quickly and easily without my dad losing balance or needed to take a break! It has an detachable bag with handles so you can easily bring things in and out, and around without having to stand up to reach into pockets while sitting down. You can place weight on this walker in all sorts of ways and it will not tip, which is a HUGE bonus..since when my father falls he usually cannot get up right away, and my mother is not strong enough to lift him. Another feature I like about this walker that I haven't seen on the others we've purchased in the past, is the built in cane hold with the securing strap up top so the cane can be put up and removed easily by the user alone . We did not realize how much easier something so simple as that could make life! Needless to say we will be purchasing a backup of these so there is one in the house and one in the car as well! Amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair came to me at the best time, my dad is 85 years old and wears a cane. This product is good for him because after having suffered a stroke he gets tired when walking and with this chair he can sit down to rest.
Well made but large! Very sturdy, durable and great color. Has a very large footprint which would be awkward in a small home or tight spaces. Also even on lowest setting it is definitely built for someone on the tall side. Also the wheels are very slick and it moves very quick - which is great for the right user but there is no friction and not to be used to lean on for stability (think the opposite of how a grocery cart or even a stroller feels). It ended up not being the right product for us but that's no fault of the product itself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a physical therapist, I'm well versed in assistive devices. Even with few parts, this product does not come with directions so I had to dock a star. Elderly people may not be able to assemble alone. The mesh basket does not stay on well, especially when empty. The backrest strap was impossible to get on and the plastic piece broken when trying to assemble. Otherwise, decent product, lightweight, easy to fold/unfold, put breaks on/off.
i am fed up with Fedex. this is my THIRD attemp to order a rollator from Walmart/Medline and third time that nothing was delivered. Do not waste your time.
