the reason that you did not hear a heartbeat is because it may be that you needed to rotate the head, so that the surface in contact with the skin is on the other side. Or you needed to adjust the angle of the ear buds so they faced upwards. just a thou

Goat keeper
Using this stethoscope, I was able to very faintly hear my own heartbeat, but not my sons. (I am pretty sure he has a heart) It would obviously not be reliable for use when an accurate result is necessary. Thankfully it was inexpensive since it was a wast

Heartbeat?
I got this to add to my animal first aid kit. When I got it I could barely hear my own heart beat. I tried it on one of my horses and could not even hear her gut sounds which I could hear with just my ear. Not good quality even for the price.

Cute Color but doesn't work
We can barely hear our own heartbeat let alone sounds from a wiggly animal. My kids now have a new toy for their dress up bin.
