2' wide. I bought a 2' wide cushion to fit in to it so that it would be as comfortable as possible. It was fully assembled when purchase which made it simple for me.
Wheelchair is very easy to use and has leg rests that can be removed with no problem. Easy to put on,also. Good solid Wheelchair. Oh,it is comfortable to sit in,too.
I was surprised by the quality! It's easy to use. Sturdy and I feel very secure while sitting in it. It was affordable and I liked having it delivered right to my home!
So one of the things I like is that legs are adjustable and can help if you need to elevate the foot as you guide the person or if they self propel their chair forward. Adjusting the height will help preventing scraping on the plastic leg base. I love that the leg pieces clip off for easy access into the trunk. The vehicles I used needed to be changed a bit to hold the chair. Otherwise, it has come in handy!
I got this for transporting my mother. It is medical grade and sturdy. It has accessible hand breaks and easy to use, making it perfect for using in the house. My only draw back, it is 35 lbs and someone who couldn't lift well would struggle to get in the trunk. I was not expecting such nice quality for the price.
I REALLY LOVE THIS WHEELCHAIR IS WIDE ENOUGH TO FIT MY WIDE REAR END AND STILL NARROW ENOUGH TO FIT THRU STANDARD DOOR WAYS WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE . IT WORKS EXCELLENT AND I LIKE THE ELEVATED FEET / LEG RESTS , WORTH EVERYTHING PAID FOR IT AT PRICE CHEAPER THAN MOST OTHERS
This wheelchair is about what you expect. Nothing too special or fancy, but good quality for temporary or occasional use. Easily configured without tools as in remove/raise/lower armrests, leg rests, etc. Chair arrived nearly fully assembled and no tools were required to finish setting it up by putting on the leg rests. The price was great and the shipping prompt. What can I say? When you suddenly need a wheelchair you want to get it FAST.
Other than being heavy and hard to load in car, it is a wonderful piece of equipment. Very sturdy, easy assembly.
Ordered a wheelchair for my daughter after an accident. The chair was to arrive the next day. After 2 days of no show I got a message that the address was incomplete. I ordered the chair at Walmart.com. I used the address in my address settings. I deliver to that address all of the time with no issue. The address they had was a street address repeated it 2x, no apartment number and had USA United States of America and then a zip code. Apparently wrong. Glitch perhaps, but it should have been caught before shipping. Nothing I would have typed in IF I had typed it in. Walmart customer service was of no use and kept spouting "3rd party vendor/can't do anything with Market Place "- meaning Medline. Medline only responds through email and only said they are shipping to the address provided (same response 5 times, even with me sending the correct address each reply). I ordered through Walmart.com. The agreement was with Walmart, Walmart took my money within 10 min of my order. NEITHER Walmart, or Medline would help me fix the problem. I hired a caretaker and drove an hour away. I purchased another wheelchair (NOT FROM WALMART) I was able to talk FEDEX who contacted Medline. They got a return label and then returned the chair to Medline. took 5 minutes. They listened and agreed that the address was entered wrong on the Medline side. THANK YOU FEDEX!!!! This is a wheelchair. If you are looking at it YOU NEED IT. Also, if they won't help tracking or fixing the shipping what would they do if you got a damaged or unusable wheelchair? It took 4 days of anxiety/stress to get this rectified. I did finally receive a refund from walmart.com. Good luck.
You sent me the wrong wheelchair! I specifically ordered the one with swing away arms and the ability to raise and lift an immobilized leg, you didn't send me what I ordered. This is a nice wheelchair but it is not what I need or ordered. Please advise as to when I might expect the one I ordered to arrive.
