Stain Remover
Bought this stove polish pasre with the intention of cleaning a small area on some slate tile where a liquid had been spilled. Nothing else worked, but, this paste did the job with a little elbow grease.

I Polished My Stove
I tested this polish on a small (about the size of baseball) heat-whitened area on the back side of my box stove. After two coats, part of the spot was still visible. I probably need to get a life. "Polish my Stove"? Even the Ingalls in their Little House on the Prairie didn't do that.

Not for scratch repair
I have black and from appliances. I was hoping for a scratch remover which this product doesn't help.

Dull finish
The polish helped to restore some of the dark black finish to my cast iron wood stove, but did not bring out the luster that it had before. The finish was very dull. I put on a second coat but it made no difference.
