Mega Construx Halo Infinite Banshee Breakout

Keen Halo Mega Blox/ Mega Construx collector. With the exception of Mega Blok's very first Covenant Ghost model, all the many variations have been at least good. This latest Banished Ghost looks fantastic, as do the included Elite and Spartan mini-figs.

Banshee Breakout was thoroughly enjoyed for several hours by my 8 year old and 4 year old Sons. The instructions were easily understood by my 8 year old and he was able to demonstrate and direct my 4 year old to how to also do it. They enjoyed the colourful pieces and the interaction between them was wonderful as they worked together to build the vehicle as in the main box image as they were excited to use the missile launchers! This was a really cool feature as they had not experienced this on any other brand name products with the use of bricks. It took them around 2.5 hours to assemble the entire 218 bricks and pieces that are supplied in the box. The figures were a really good addition, making for a fun play and re-enact experience. It also made for much better play together as there was two figures, one each so no arguments! After a few days they decided to dismantle the vehicle to make the second version advertised. My 8 year old said that it "is a better design but I think it will be harder to follow the instructions". It took slightly less time to piece the blocks together correctly into the desired vehicle. It was great to see that the missiles could still be used and the mechanism for the launching of the missiles is very clever. The stand or the vehicles to stimulate flying is a great feature that even I have never come across and makes for a more authentic play experience. Neither of my Sons were aware of Halo prior to this toy but this was quickly resolved by a few video watches on YouTube to familiarise themselves. This toy makes for great imagination play for hours long. The retail price for the product is most definitely worth it especially as it doubles up as two playsets in one. I would also definitely consider purchasing the other sets for my children.

My grandson loved it and was really excited to put it together. He showed every piece to his dad and explained it to him

Received this few weeks ago for grandson 9 had to wait for adult help loads of small parts (as expected) but loads of fun putting together once assembled was great now waiting for another set. Very collectable as can mix and match . Takes awhile to put together which is a good thing keep away from small children as small parts but well worth money
