Mega Construx Probuilder Space Rover Expedition

This is a really nice build from Mega Construx (formerly Mega Bloks). The build includes the rover, a small mining drone, and three fully articulated figures. Once completed, the rover is an impressive size. All the figures easily fit into the crew cabin and the drone can be loaded into the utility bed of the rover. There is an arm on the bed that allows you to lift items in and out of the rover. I have not experienced the rolling issues that the other reviewer noted. I would say that this is not really meant for young children. It is primarily meant as a showpiece in the Probuilder Line. You can play with it, but you might have to repair it after rough play.

The Mega Construx "Space Rover" is described as a "Probuilder" due to the number of parts and how small many of the parts are. Although the end result makes for a VERY good looking static model the inability of the wheels to roll smoothly negates its play value. Another negative is that both the rear and side doors easily come off. I don't recommend buying this item unless it's being purchased for static display only. Note: I've purchased about a dozen Mega Construx brick vehicles and I've only had problems with two: (a) the Space Rover and (b) their replica of a Harrier Jet (the wings came off, unless glued in place). Generally speaking, their product line is EXCELLENT!!!
