MEGA Hot Wheels Mega-Wrex Monster Truck Building Set with 1 Figure (187 Pieces)

My son loves it, he's a big Mega Wrex fan. If your kid is younger, expect to have to help them assemble it. Really fun to build though!

My son is 3.5 and adores this set. It is compatible to Lego brand- quality-wise, but I think it may be a little cheaper price-wise than Lego! Would highly recommend this one. It was a lot of fun to build together.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun for kids that love building blocks and monster trucks. The directions were easy to follow. My six year old really liked how it can be a race car or a monster truck. You can add additional sets to mix and match and customize vehicles.

Pieces are good sized with a few small pieces to increase the difficulty a little. Two sets of wheels help to make it like having two different trucks. The smaller wheels work for more controlled driving where the bigger wheels are more wobbly when driving. Bigger wheels are the perfect size to drive over smaller cars to "crush" them like a normal monster truck. The detail in the design is spot on making it look even better. The shark teeth and fun are great touches and my 4 yo loves them. Stays together when playing with it and gives hours of fun.

The little guy that you can put in-and-out was a lot of fun. His has great range of movement which makes him a lot more fun.

He loves building toys and monster trucks so this is a combination of his two favorite things. He loved that there are wheel options so he can drive his truck around like a normal truck or turn it into a monster truck. He has spent hours playing with it.

He did have some trouble figuring out what piece was what, and deciphering colors on the instruction sheet. We love that the blocks were separated into stages of the monster truck. He really enjoys playing with the truck!
