MEGA Hot Wheels Mod Rod Building Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Mod Rod Hot Wheels car to build. I sat down with my 10 year old daughter that loves building things. I have to say the quality of it all is excellent. The directions for me were easy to fallow. My daughter did have some trouble understanding them. It took her a min, but she figured it out after a min or two. I wanted to see if she was able to understand them. Once she was able to figure it out she moved quickly on building the car. Other than that it was fun watching her build it and she enjoyed it as well. Love the fact that the wheels are soft rubber and it rolls nice!! Overall we both loved it and would build more of them!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 10 year old grandson and I decided to do this project together in the living room on the coffee table.The individual bags helped keep things organized and also provided good breaking points.It should be said less distraction is better and maybe we should have chosen a quieter location

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product came in a well packaged box and was very appealing. Inside the box, everything was packaged nice and easy to separate for building. Instructions were easy to follow and understand, my daughter had no issues. Pieces are sturdy and well made and building them together was easy to do. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, what a FUN build!!! Mega and Hotwheels have done it again!!! We had such a blast piecing this beast together. Easy to follow instructions. The size and colorway makes this an instant hit on any collector's shelf. We absolutely loved how many different combinations we could change the Rod into. Weather it be retro with a hood or no hood, a convertible with a huge engine or coupe with a smaller engine simply equaled PERFECTION!!!! With a Huge nitro tank in the trunk this baby is ready!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to read instructions and parts are well built. Final product feels solid and son loves to play with it. Its a recommended 10+ but my 7 year old was able to complete it by himself. The instructions are very easy to read we liked the way each brick was clearly displayed using different collored spots in the places it would be landing. I've included some pics of the instructions while he was using them this was a great experience and i was surprised at the overall quality and ease of use of mega blocks. Great product and cool hotwheel!

He spread out the building over 3 days, but totally could've built it in 1, since he really enjoyed the process. The finished car has a lot of detail, and it was really great that no stickers were needed! The graphics are already printed on the pieces, which was super nice because it's always hard to get those on perfectly straight and then they always tend to peel at the corners. The car has fun, movable parts like the doors, trunk and engine, and just looks very sharp and cool. I love the colors. The couple of things that my son pointed out that could be better were that he wished the pieces snapped together 100%. He showed me and it seemed to have a very small gap. Also, he said that the finished car is fragile, so be careful not to put any weight on it or it'll break apart. Overall, this is a really fun kit for older builders! We will display it in his room as decoration. :)

Son got this as a gift, glad I didn't pay for it because it's garbage. Missing pieces. Hard to connect pieces. Caused so much frustration. Cool details though.
