MEGA Hot Wheels Twin Mill Construction Set, Building Toys for Kids

My grandson loved this car and enjoyed building it.

The instructions were clear and easy to follow (I loved the highlighted pegs that helped show where the next piece was supposed to go), but it was still moderately challenging for my 5yo son. Some of the smaller pieces were a bit difficult for him to connect securely. This 101-piece set is a great size for an afternoon activity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Mega Hot Wheels Twin Mill building set for my son. My son loves Legos but really loved this building set because it was easy, fun and functional. Definitely recommend this for all your hot wheel fans.

My 6 year old has done many building sets of other popular brands and he specifically told me the instruction book in this one was far superior. The instructions actually show where to place the specific piece by highlighting the exact raised bumps the piece attaches to. This eliminates any room for error in exactly where the piece is attaching to which is sometimes an issue. It was the perfect toy to occupy two hours keeping him busy. If your child is into cool cars and vehicles and also loves building sets, this is the perfect purchase! :)

He was so excited to play with a toy that actually works that he built. It is a great little set-perfect for younger kids who are learning to build things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 8 and he really likes this toy. He says it is fun to build and he likes that he can play with it and race his other cars. His favorite part is that it has a big engine that makes it look fast. It's also nice that it comes with a person that you can take in and out of the race car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun build for Hot Wheels fans! My boys were excited to build this racer. The directions were pretty easy to follow - especially if you're familiar with Mega blocks and their directions. (full transparency, my 8yo did say he prefers Lego and that their instructions are much easier to follow) Once complete, they enjoyed racing it down the hall. Unfortunately, it did crash and it came apart rather easily. So they were disappointed - and have not yet wanted to rebuild it. I did save the instructions, so hopefully Twin Mill makes a comeback!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, when we opened this product, it was missing the direction book. That was OK, because I looked up the book online. What was disappointing was that there were missing pieces, so my son could not put the entire car together. Thankfully, he has a great imaginary and made sue with what he had. In the end, he did love the toy and still plays with it, albeit not as excitedly as he would if the whole thing was put together correctly.
