[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys enjoyed building Charmander and the instructions were easy to follow. My 10 year old was able to guide my four year old in building it and it was sweet to watch them enjoy doing something together. Only thing was if you loose any piece then it is hard to complete.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product for our 9 year old. Though he was excited it was Pokémon it was very easy to put together for him. He does do a lot of legos which may be why it was done in about five minutes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was so excited for this as he loves Pokémon especially charmander. He immediately started working on it as soon as he got it. He put most of it together by himself but he said some of the instructions were a bit confusing to him and he asked my husband for help and my husband said he had made a few mistakes but my husband was able to fix it. My son was so proud when it was complete.

It's nice that it comes with a fire elements landscape but overall it's too small (and too expensive for what you get) and too isolated to hold interest. I understand that it's meant to be combined with other Mega Pokemon Build with Motion sets, but without them this set is meh as a standalone. Also, my 10yo is usually pretty good with building instructions but had a couple of missteps based on the instructions in this set too. But... We do love Charmander!!
I love all the little guys that make the world of Pokemon enjoy putting them together and the colors are awesome
