Mega Pokemon Mini Motion Geodude

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 10 year old pokemon and block loving boy. The age suggestion is 13+ but since he does a lot of building sets I thought it would be fine. It was harder than most and I helped a few places, but otherwise the instructions were easy to follow. Once he was done it looked really cool and its nice that ou can animate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the MEGA Pokémon Mini Motion Geodude Building Kit with Motion (354 Pieces) for Collectors for my 13 year old son as he's a Pokémon fan and collector. He and his younger (8 year old) sister were able to put it together with no problem. It looks great with his collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall this set is great and unique for my 12 year old son's collection. He has a few others from the same line and really liked that this one was a bit more challenging but not too hard that he needed help. His only complaint is that sometimes the button that you push down to open the mouth gets stuck down so it's hard to force the mouth closed without breaking the blocks apart. Overall it's a great product and he loved it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child opened this immediately when he saw this and started building away. It was easy to put together and looked awesome completed. This is a must have for anyone who loves building, also the fact that it's Pokémon you can't miss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Challenging, but fun! Instructions were easy to follow, numbered bags and clear graphics made referencing pieces to build easy. The only negative was attaching the head to the the thin bars that basically holds the entire Geodude to the base. The clear case was cool because you get to see the mechanisms in action. Overall, pretty cool abd fun to build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Geodude mini motion mega blocks was a great toy! My son and I bonded as we worked on building it. The instructions were useful and we build it in two days. It was fun but a bit of a challenge because some of the piece, we had to angle them. It held my son's interest and enjoys moving the arms on geodude.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a build for an older child, 13+ is an ideal age. My 14 year old, who builds tons of Mega Pokemon sets and Lego Minecraft sets built this. He said there are a ton of tiny pieces which makes it a little difficult build. Still he was able to build this set on his own. It is fun once it is built to see it move. Please note this is not battery powered movement. Just a simple push and pull lever system. Our only frustration with this set and the reason for 3 stars instead of 5... We found the final building sections to be a bit "crumbly". The pieces didnt stay locked in together. Normally these types of set from Mega are very strong and lock in perfectly. With this set that is not the case. The arms and the pieces that prop up the body will go crashing down very easily. As for the looks of the completed build.. its decent.

This was a gift for my daughter, she loves pokemon, loves building. However it is missing 2 pieces right at the very end of the build to connect the arms to the body of geodude. Can't seem to get any pieces online and I'm very disappointed that at the end of the directions it gives you a website for missing pieces and it just says it's unavailable. I wasted my time and money on this.
