MegaChef 10.4 in. Square Oven Safe Cast Iron Griddle Pan

Haven't used it yet but out of the box it seems sturdy and good quality. The weight is well balanced so you can hold it one hand but the handles are still short enough to fit well on the stovetop. The bottoms inside and out are perfectly smooth and flat which was one of my non-negotiables. The lid fits well and was packaged well to prevent shipping damage. The little scrapers that come with it are great. I'm only hesitant about the red handle cover. It's loose and feels like it could slip off. Thankfully, my own silicone oven mitts grip the handles perfectly so I won't have to worry about dropping it. I'll try to remember to update this after using it.

They are okay cast iron skillets. They are a lot rougher texture than I was expecting. You can't rub canola oil on them with a paper towel because the rough texture catches the paper towel. And you have to put a thin layer oil them after washing with hot water to keep them from rusting. I haven't had anything stick to the pans. The silicone holders are way too big for the handles especially the 2 smaller pans. The lids are nice to have with the set.

I tested it for lead, and it came back negative. It serves its purpose great! It is preseasoned, but I did add an additional seasoning layer, and the initial is ROUGH! Do not use the potholders individually; you will burn yourself; they are very thin.

Not recommended, The 10 or 12 in is warped in the middle so all the oil runs off to the side. You can feel the bubble better than you can see it. I no longer had the packaging so I kept it but I would appreciate a replacement. The glass lid continues to loosen. Thank you

i have problems with the large pan.it stick and its treated.just the large up in the center.it even looked different before i treated it
