MegaChef 7 Quarts Oval Enameled Cast Iron Casserole in Gray

I set out looking for a very large Oval Dutch Oven as a Christmas present for my husband who makes large family meals. I found good reviews for this brand and they had an Oval shaped version which I though would be best suited for a variety of meals. Dutch ovens can be very pricey and this brand seemed to have both good reviews while still being affordable. I checked all the early Black Friday sales and Walmart had the best price I could find. It came quickly and extremely well packaged to protect it. WARNING it came in the original box with a picture and product name on the outside so not great for a gift in the same household. I checked for condition and found it was in another product box with styrofoam inside the delivered box. It was then in more styrofoam inside the inner box and plastic wrap. I meticulously checked for flaws or chips and made sure the lid fit - absolutely perfect condition AND it was beautiful. I'm not a big red fan but the color was even nicer looking than the pictures and perfect for Christmas. I will have to come back in the future to let you lnow how it holds up and works for cooking but it seems like great quality and a GREAT PRICE!

Such a great Dutch oven, large enough for a big roast an or a one pot with veggies and meat. Easy to clean, cooks items evenly and consistently. Love the red color, very vibrant!

I had a difficult time finding the size I needed. I was excited to find the one I needed at Walmart and for a good price. I've not used it yet but plan to bake bread in it tomorrow morning.

Am very pleased with this product. I had an oval casserole pot that was damaged so I decided to try this one when I saw it. It is very heavy (it is cast iron after all) but I expected that! I can hardly wait to try it out, even if I have to have my husband lift it from the stovetop!!

Excellent! Perfect size for large families or gatherings. So far I've cooked soups, stews, roast beef, and pork shoulder without a glitch. Goes from stove top to oven, heats and cooks like non-enameled cast iron but cleans up so easily. Should last for generations with minimal care.

i like this pot, and i got it at a good price point. i especially got it for the large size, for baking rice in the oven and for baking whole chicken. however, i wish it csme in another color. im not a huge fan of red cooking utensils, but others like red... I guess, so it's popular.

I purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. So I purchased another one for my son.
