Worked exactly as advertised, and as I'd hoped!

this thing as actually works on minor to medium scratches, I don't know how but very happy with the product.

It works on light scratch. I don't think it works on deep scratch. I put on a few dab on the scratch and rubbed on the scratch three times and the scratch was gone.

I bought this today and used it right away in the Walmart parking lot. I wanted to test to see if the other reviews were claiming that it gets rid of scratches on cars. I concur it does! My car is an older model a 2008 Toyota Corolla Black colour. I've been getting keyed by very mean people in my building and since I park in a small parking lot, I've gotten some dings from other cars opening their doors and hitting my car. So there was another review here on another site saying that it doesn't actually get rid of the scratches because you can still an invisible line (when the sun is shining on your car) where the scratch existed. But it does a really good job at "lightening" the scratches and fading them. On deeper scratches, it doesn't do anything. But I highly recommend this product to get rid of small scuffs and minor scratches. I used a microfiber cloth and applied firm pressure while going in a circular motion for about 30 seconds and they were gone. Try doing it two or three times on bigger scratches. And you don't need to use a lot, a little goes a long way. Good luck!

I used it on my and it didn't have a desired effect, got a tiny bit of the scratch gone but not all of it.

I had several scratches varying from light, to medium, to deep, swirl marks, water marks on my 3 year old Ram 1500 truck and since it is Black color, it is easy to get scratches and marks, and easy to see them. After a lot of research and watching so many Youtube videos, I thought to try this product. It really didn't work, non of the vehicle paint issues was resolved with this product. I encourage you not to buy it. I followed the instructions very well, and applied it 4 times, 24 hours between each application, no result on any of the paint issues.

Bought this a couple months ago to remove scratches in black paint. Scratches are not deep (cant be felt with finger nails). Applied by hand and with buffer and does not remove the scratches. also tried Mequiars Ultimate Compound which does not remove light scratches either.

They're advertising as Scratch X 2.0, even the picture shows 2.0. but when I picked it up it was original Scratch X 1.0. They're selling the first generation as 2.0 generation with false advertising.
