Melinda's Foods Truffle Hot Sauce, Fresh Based, TSA Compliant Size

This is a great hot sauce. I'm a hot sauce addict (even belonged to a "hot sauce of the month" club) and I really wish I would've gone with my instinct and just bought the larger size. So many people complained about this, and I'm not sure why. This is not very spicy, it just adds a little warmth (which the company makes you fully aware of by the number of peppers highlighted on the bottle), so I'm unsure why people are so mad about this not making them sweat with diarrhea due to the spiciness. Also, so many people complained about this having a weird taste. These people have clearly never eaten a truffle, truffle oil, or anything with truffle as an ingredient before. Truffles have that little bit of musky funk to them, which is what makes them great to those of us who enjoy it. Shame on those who leave poor reviews because they don't know what a truffle tastes like. Parmesan cheese is an ingredient in this; it helps to enhance the truffle, in my opinion. If you have some sort of special needs diet or need to know the full ingredientsfor some reason, I would think you'd go straight to the company for the actual ingredients list; not assume Walmart's website is accurate, then complain about it's inaccuracy during a review of the PRODUCT later. Don't let the bad reviews fool you - this is a great product for what it is advertised as.

This stuff is like crack, I can't get enough. My new favorite sauce, just a disclaimer though, they call it hot sauce but it's not really spicy, but the flavor is awesome.

This hot sauce is delicious. Very creamy and rich, truffle, taste, and not too hot. Taste like garlic. I’m glad that Walmart offers us in a small bottle so that I can try it.

I added about a tablespoon to the pot of my homemade chicken noodle soup. It really boosted the flavor and added a little bite but no heat.

I only tasted heat, and a lot of it. Not my preference, but I am a wimp. I do like many of this brand's other sauces so I just had to try.

This is honestly pretty nasty. I like a lot of Melinda's hot sauces, but this is the worst hot sauce I've had in a long time. Til now I really thought there weren't any truly bad hot sauces, but I was wrong. This tastes a bit like vomit. Something about the pepper and fake truffle flavor and the mayo base comes together to just give a pretty overall putrid taste. That said, I really bought it because I wanted an empty container to take other hot sauces with me, and it's succeeded at that.
