My daughter loves the easel for my 2 year old grandson. The magnetic side chalkboard is so nice for him to put his letters and numbers on. I just ordered more of the Melissa and Doug magnet sets, The Farm and Disney Characters for him to use on the magnetic chalkboard. Great gift, I am so happy with my purchase,

First off, I LOVE that this easel is adjustable in height so that it grows along with the child. The knobs are also super adjustable for little hands. The numerous letter and number magnets are also a nice touch to add to extra play. With the letters, I'm able to practice spelling with my nephew and get him to think about how to title his pieces of arts after he creates them. So not only does this toy get this creative juices flowing, but it also helps him with spelling and thinking about how to name his pieces! My grandkids use it every time they come over - they paint and use the marker and chalk board regularly. It gives them opportunity to be creative in a comfortable setting and two can participate at once. If the paper loaded from the top as is does on a smaller mode we have it would be easier to switch out. A shelf underneath to store extra supplies would be helpful.

I purchased this easel for my Granddaughter for Christmas. She is 20 months and loves to explore her creative side. The height adjustment is perfect! She loves the white board and chalk board. It would be nice if the accessory set was included with the easel as an option. My daughter in law loved the paint cups. I think there should be more than one white board marker in the accessory set. It was a hit and they love it!!!! All your products are great.

This is a great easel with magnetic board to gift to kids that are of two to four years of age. I gifted it to my niece who is super artistic, and she loves drawing on it. She can literally spend 3 hours in one sitting just drawing animals on there, and even doing math calculations. The board allows her the space to really free her mind. This magnetic board easel is fantastic because sometimes she would post images right next to her drawings with magnets to try to mimic. It is easy to clean, and very simple to fold up to save space. my 20 month old had recently started learning alphabets and numbers...so thought this would be a good thing for him. Surprisingly, for the first time my thinking was spot on! (typically my wife's always right and I get it wrong). This has become the toy that my son plays with first thing in the morning and as soon as he gets back from Daycare. He loves the magnetic alphabets + numbers and pretty much sits with his mom, grand mom or dad and practices saying, recognizing, and sticking the them on the magnetic surface. he's currently pretty close to recognizing all the alphabets and numbers from 1-9. While he's still young, I can easily see him doing basic arithmetic, some creative art work on the whiteboard and the chalk board. In general - like any M&D toy, the construction of this thingy is pretty sturdy and heavy duty. It gets dragged everywhere in my house and is still standing up pretty well. It also didn't take too long to assemble - around 15-20 minutes. Overall a great learning toy, and happy that M&D continues to expand its product line offerings. We got this for our grand daughter's 2nd birthday. She absolutely loves it! Coloring and drawing is one of her favorite activities so this board was a must. The alphabet magnets are a big hit too! It's very sturdy which is great since it's getting lots of use!

This is a mini version of classroom where parents and kids can interact together. This standing art easel which can be folded for easy storage has two boards. When it is not in use, it can be stored under kid's bed. In this package, it comes with 39 letter and number magnets and two removable art-supply trays. The parents can use it to help kids recognize letters and numbers and draw. I believe the kids would love to play with it as it is fun and not easy to get bored with, especially if they can play with additional art supplies (such as paper roll, paint, dry-erase marker etc.). Another nice feature of it is the adjustable height which is a very smart design. In a conclusion, I would strongly recommend it. My wife put this together, so instructions were pretty simple. I would advise to build the easel where you're going to put it, as it is pretty large, and is hard to maneuver through doors. The parts and the design are pretty simple, couple pieces of wood, some screws holding them together. I feel like it's something that any company can put together (like Ikea). Quality is a little lower than expected for Melissa and Doug, who on other products I have of theirs, the wood is usually much better. So those two factors lead me to feel like the product is a bit over priced, and you MIGHT be able to find something similar for cheaper. That said - my kids love it. They're using the dry/erase side mostly, and now they are fighting about who gets to use it. Yay. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson. The blackboard is not a real blackboard, definitely not up to your usual standards. It has a grainy texture to it. I don't know if there is something that I can apply to it, to improve it. I would not purchase this again.
