Halloween and Beyond!
I got this for my firefighter obsessed toddler so that he could use it as a Halloween costume first and then have it for everyday play. It's a great costume set! The hat is made of hard plastic that won't easily break and I like that the jacket velcros on. For Halloween he was able to wear a full winter coat underneath to keep warm.

I bought these for my grandson for Halloween. He loved the siren and pointed it at anything that scared him while trick or treating.

Great quality!
I have previously bought the Mellisa and Doug firefighter dress up set for a birthday gift (several years ago) and knew that the old ones held up well. I wasn't expecting today's product to be as good, but I am pleasantly surprised that this dress up set is also made well! The fabric seems like it will hold up to my energetic grandson. He loves all the accessories too!

Toy and Halloween costume

Packaging not suitable for gift giving
Apparently “eco friendly package” means it's just tossed into a plain brown box. Item was not packaged like you see on the Melissa %26 Doug website. Not comfortable giving it as a gift; looks like it could have been someone else's return.
