this is great for kids 5 to 8. all you need is a little bit of water and then paint.

Super cute and fun photos, the water color is on the paper so everything you need is right in the book.

These are so nice and easy to use and clean up after. I recommend taking the page out before painting so the water doesn't warp the unused pages. Our girls have been enjoying painting in these books since just before their 2nd birthdays.

My grandchildren love to express themselves and improve their fine motor skills.

Accidentally purchased this thinking I was buying one where the colors are already in the picture. The colors aren't as vivid and it requires more skill than my granddaughters possess at this time.

I'll start by saying I absolutely love Melissa and Doug products. We own a ton. So when I saw they made these paint books I was very excited. We had been introduced to the concept by another company, and I was looking for refills, so excitedly ordered these. Unfortunately, they don't seem to work very well. The designs are great (I ordered four different books), but the paint doesn't work at all. My daughter tried and tried but color barely came through. Very disappointed.
