Melissa & Doug Prehistoric Playground Dinosaur Activity Rug (39 x 36 inches) - 4 Toy Animals

I love this play mat. Many I saw were designed like a movie theme play idea. I prefer a simple open ended traditional design. This is perfect. My grandson can use his imagination on this large area with freedom of space. I highly recommend this easy to roll up and store play mat.

This play mat was purchased for my 3 1/2 yr. old Grandson. He is all about dinosaurs and carries a tote bag of them everywhere. The mat is placed on top of my coffee table which gives lots of protection to the wood surface, yet becomes the perfect height for him to play. The multiple graphic areas encourages his imagination to soar. He LOVES this rug as much as his dinosaurs! I love this because it is well made, durable, colorful and gives him so much joy. This is a gift for our grandson. Although he hasn't seen it, we have. The rug is soft; the dinosaurs are perfect and he is going to have a great time integrating his current dinosaur collection with this rug and dinosaurs. Seriously, all we wanted was a "dinosaur cave." The rug and dinosaur accessories make this extra fun.

My 2 1/2 yr old is OBSESSED with dinosaurs. I got him this play rug as an early Christmas present. He and his sister play with this. They not only pretend the dinosaurs are on it, but all of their animals. My 3 yr old always yells out "Watch out for the lava!" This is our 3rd play rug from M&D and it definitely gets the most use out of them all.

Our grandson is 23 mo. old and LOVES dinosaurs!..He is just starting to interact with the dinosaurs - making them fight, etc. The rug and dinosaur set were his first Hannukah gift. I'm not quite sure that he really gets the purpose of the rug yet but he loves the dinosaurs. My husband and I love the quality of the rug and also that it doesn't move when it's open on our tile floor.

I bought one that arrived today for one grandson's fifth birthday, he couldn't wait to open it! As with all Melissa and Doug products we have seen, it's great quality. The four little dinosaurs that come with it are so cute! I had to get online because my grandson that turned 3 in July wants one for Christmas, and I think another grandson, that turned five two weeks ago, might want one once he sees it tomorrow, as well! Very happy with it. I bought it on sale, so the price even makes me happy.

This is a super great toy. As soon as he unboxed it my 3 year old grandson set out the 4 little enclosed dinosaurs and his 7 or 8 larger rubber ones, and began to play. So many places for the dinosaurs to explore! Later, he got out his playmobil farm set and set it up on the rug. I know he'll be enjoying this rug for a long time to come!

This item arrived on time and in good condition. It is going to be a present for my nephews, and looks much sturdier than other play mats. I know that they will enjoy it!

My 4 year old grandson loves this rug. He makes up all kinds of adventures in his volcano world, using the four dinosaurs that come with it along with blocks, vehicles etc. Of his own.

The colors and art are very pretty but the dinosaur materials are not long lasting. The felt material pulls off of the Dinosaurs as soon as they play with them on the mat. For the original price they should be more durable.
