Melissa & Doug Puffy Sticker Activity Book: Mermaids

What wonderful, engaging play! We have ordered multiple sets after getting the Christmas set as a gift. This is a quality product. There are some tiny stickers, which should be taken into consideration for the individual child. Our 3 year old really enjoys it, but she is dexterous and not one to put things in her mouth. Our 2nd grade niece was thoroughly engaged and the adults were too!!

I bought these for my twin granddaughters who are 4. They have had a few of the puffy sticker sets but really love the mermaid one. This is the second set I've bought as they wore out the first set (as they played with them so much!).

Great fun! My 4-year-old granddaughter loves this. She's telling me the story as she places the stickers. Inspires creativity and imagination. Peeling and placing the stickers also improves fine motor skills. It's fun and beneficial!

My daughters are so into mermaids. We had to order this again because the first one they had was played with so much it wore out.

Perfect for my little darling who's totally into mermaids! Kept her occupied for hours while mama got some work done. It's a home run!

Love these sticker books! Gives my girls endless hours of fun!!!

My daughter absolutely loved this when she got it as a gift! She played with it for a long time, and it is so great that it is reusable. She pulled it out the other day, after not playing with it for a while, and she loves it just the same as when she first got it!

I purchased this play set for my 2 yr old grand daughter - I had planned to give it to her when she was older as the recommended age is 4+. She happened to see them on my desk and wanted to play with it. I decided to sit with her and allow her to play. So GLAD that I did so as we BOTH had a blast placing the stickers on the included play board. We spent several hours mixing and matching the different outfits that came with the play set. We talked about colors and shapes, named each item represented by the sticker, and learned about sea life. The package comes with a play board - printed on both sides so you can choose which side to place the stickers on. You can use both sides at once if you choose. There are MANY different stickers included in the package - different mermaid outfits as well as accessories and sea life. (dolphins, crabs, starfish, etc) See the close up of the package to see all the different stickers. The stickers themselves are thicker than normal stickers (puffy). They are reusable but I HIGHLY recommend keeping them AWAY from ANY lint or dust. Once the adhesive on the back becomes dirty, they will not stick. I also noticed that trying to rub off the dirt will also rub off the adhesive. I solved this problem by using double sided sticky tape and cutting to fit the shape of the sticker. This play set can be used to teach the following skills: vocabulary, basic concepts such as colors and shapes, categorization, and following directions as well as allowing a child's imagination to create different stories to go along with the play set. I would think that children age 2 - 12 would enjoy using this product. I DO recommend adult supervision if your child is young or has a habit of putting things in their mouth. My grand daughter (at 2 yrs old) is pretty good about NOT putting things in her mouth so I can allow her to play by herself without direct supervision.

Love the mermaids but there are lots of very tiny pieces. I wish there were more bigger outfits and less tiny things like seashells and purses.

We bought for our 4 year old granddaughter, she loved it . She played with it on a table or her little tv tray , but the items still gathered dust and now don't stick Now she is frustrated with it . I may get some double sided tape see how that works. Would have been great if they were made like the old fashion Colorform stickers back in the day. Nice toy but not the best Melessia and Doug toy.
