Melissa & Doug Deluxe Wooden Stamp Set: Animals - 30 Stamps, 6 Markers, 2 Stamp Pads

I was very happy with my Melissa and Doug purchase. Walmart had the cheapest price, and quick shipping, so we got our stamp set right away. My six year old enjoys using it to spell out words for his reading class, and also to make fun things like cards and posters. Using the stamp set enables him to get a finished craft project that he's satisfied with and one that he didn't have to struggle with over the lettering.

Very well made. Keeps my child entertained for a long time. The quality and variety of the stamps is great.

My granddaughter loves this set of stamps. I bought a separate set of ink pads for long time creative play even though it came with ink pads.

These M & D stamp sets are delightful! My 3 year old granddaughter asks to play with them every time she visits. And she makes up stories about the animals as she stamps. Well worth the money to encourage creativity, animal recognition, small motor skills, etc.

This set is a great selection of four groups of animals. You can sort them in many ways. Many opportunities for vocabulary and language growth. It comes with a couple of small stamp pads and markers. I'd recommend getting an additional multi-colored stamp pad as well. Like many of the Melissa and Doug stamp sets and magnet sets, I wish this came with a top to contain all the parts, and for easier storage. (Their number and letter magnet sets have sliding sturdy plastic tops.) But overall it is a great selection of a variety of animals. Lots of fun and creative potential!
