Mellanni Mulberry Silk Collection 19 Momme Dark Gray Silk Pillowcase, Gift Box, Queen

I bought this for my niece who had been asking for a silk pillowcase. She has curly hair and so she is worried about her hair being damaged during sleeping, and she was very excited to open it up and she liked the color and the piping around it it felt very nice.

I did get it on sale, but it's very much worth it. It has cut down hairstyling time for my four year old, curly-headed daughter from 15-20 minutes to 2-3 minutes.

Amazing product! I have super sensitive skin and thin fragile hair. I have noticed a Huge difference in my hair and skin since i started using this pillowcase. I know what you're thinking. The same thing I did. That price, right? Well I promise it is worth every last penny. Quality on point. This is your sign. You need this pillowcase in your life.

Malbury Silk is the highest quality, best silk. Momme in silk is like a sheet thread count. Momme is generally from 15 to 30 but the best quality would be at least 19 Momme. Silk pillowcases are good for your hair. They make it softer, more vibrant, reduces frizz and helps with bedhead. They are also great for your skin, helps to reduce fine lines and improve skin quality. This pillowcase is softer, smoother and causes less friction than cotton pillowcases. I am very excited that Walmart has these now and with 19 momme! I love the zipper on the pillowcase and the cool, non-moisure retraining silk on my face after a nice long day. My hair is noticeably softer, less frizzy, more vibrant even after just a few nights sleep and hopefully it will help my hair to be stronger over time.

Let me just start by the presentation of the Pillowcase. The box it was in was so elegant. The case has a magnetic lid, so chic, wrapped in tissue paper. The pillowcase was somewhat different than I have purchased in the past. The mulberry silk feel so elegant. It’s very soft without being slippery. I love the zipper also. I love the way it feels on my cheeks and the fact it helps my hair not be so fly away in the mornings. My one and only complain was it did have an unpleasant smell. But, after a quick hand wash in vanity basin, tossed in dryer, IT WAS PERFECT.

I am so happy with my purchase! These pillowcases are 100% mulberry silk and you can tell by how soft and silky they are. It also came in detailed and sophisticated packaging with a heartfelt note inside. Can't wait to buy more of these as gifts for holidays, bridal showers, and birthdays!

Beautifully made. The fabric weave is tight which bodes well for long use. Felt good against my skin—soft and cool all night long. I can move around easily without the pillow sliding away. The one downside I see for some people is its size. A particularly fluffy new or overstuffed regular-sized pillow is not going to fit well. My pillow is older and not as full as it was new. It fits in, and zipped up, plumps the case out fully. Five stars for me, but one off because I know lots of people like big pillows. Just want them to be aware.

1) I was expecting 2 pillowcases. The first picture shows 2 pillowcases, so the ad is a bit deceiving. And who would want only 1 King size pillowcase? If you have a king bed, you need at least two. The color I got was on sale for $24 . I would be even more upset if I had paid $50 for 1 on the other colors and only got 1 pillowcase. 2) The color is NOT lilac. It is a dark dusty pink or light mauve. It is not what I wanted. 3) It is not 36 inches long. It is 35 inches. If you have thicker king pillows, they may not fit this case and be able to zip it up. 4) The fabric does not feel like silk to me. It is labeled as 100% silk, but it feels more like satin. It is soft and feels cool to the touch though. All in all, I'm disapointed. I may return it rather than have to buy another one for my two king sized pillows.

Silk? Blend, maybe. 1. All silk worms eat only mulberry leaves. Doesn’t feel or act like any silk I’ve owned in the last 75 years. In fact, the fabric ‘squeak’s’ when rubbed between fingers. However, the surface is slick and doesn’t create static electricity. The packaging is lovely but I’d rather have a 100% silk pillowcase.

Would recommend washing before use. There was an odd odor that kept waking me up that 1st night. Other wise - good!
