The gun charges quickly with my Dewalt batteries. Also appreciate the larger capacity of glue compared to standard ones.

Love this glue gun
Love it! The dewalt battery is heavy enough to let it sit up on its own - it heats up so quickly, doesn't ooze glue like many do. My husband has stolen it for his workshop! He thinks its stellar too!

Making crafts? Well worth buying!
Works really well and has a no drip tip. Anyone that has worked with glue guns know that having a no drip tip is a very big deal. They all drip and make a mess. But not this one! Takes all 20v Dewalt batteries. I have several Dewalt tools and batteries. I bought this for my wife and we found that you'll need a 4 mah (milli amp hour)battery or larger. The 5 or 6 mah works best. The 5 or 6 mah can go non stop for several hours of use. They actually make batteries up to 12 mah, but they are larger. My wife say she likes the 5 or 6 mah because they are easier to handle over long periods of making crafts. The gun itself is quite light.

NOT THE BEST BUY
I love the way the gun looks. however, how it looks doesn't matter because it did NOT come with a battery. Now I have spent lots of money and time to find a battery so I can ACTUALLY use the gun!
