This bed frame is better than I imagined, I have slept well every night since I began using it. First, it was easy to assemble, just unfold and tighten screws. I have the full size so it came in two separate frames that I attached together with two long screws. It has plastic caps under each leg so it is stable on hard floors as well as carpets. It's quiet; so far no squeaks. I didn't see a weight limit on the carton or the instruction sheet but it is a very sturdy steel frame unlike my old rail bed frame that wasn't very stable and would squeak. The frame is 14” high from top of frame to floor and a good height for under bed storage but using only a mattress and no box spring makes the bed lower to sleep on than what I'm used to and also it does not come with the brackets to attach a headboard. The frame is not too heavy it's actually light weight and can easily be disassembled and folded if you want to store it for occasional use. I wish I had known long ago about this frame before I had purchased two sets of rails that bent and had to use tools for assembling, overall a very good bed frame

I was excited when I saw this product as I was searching for a twin size bed frame but found it to be so much more. I knew I was opening something special as it arrived in a box only 4" wide and 3' wide making that in itself part of it's versatility. It folds to those dimensions when not in use. The frame is a smart base made of premium steel which acts as a foundation requiring no box spring for support thereby saving money. Underneath it has generous storage which is like a hidden closet which can be dressed with a bed skirt. I often have company on weekends as I live in a vacation area so this product is perfect for my needs but find no reason why it couldn't be used on a daily basis. This steel bed foundation/frame is lightweight but sturdy at only 25 pounds. It comes in one piece and does not require any tools to set up which I simply did alone in less than 5 minutes. It has 1 brace per leg which gently snaps into place and locked down with a wingnut. It's secret to not needing a box spring for support is the frame is made up of a grid like pattern foundation with metal supports. The supports are generously and closely spaced 5 inches apart vertically and 12" horizontally, how clever! The frame at 14" high, sits higher off the ground than conventional frames. My standard bed which is 9 and a half inches tall is just too short to store many standard storage boxes which generally measure 12" in height. I also learned a trick from going on cruises is to store my suitcases under the bed. This idea is perfect for my guests to stow their's while visiting. The frame has no sharp edges to be aware of and on it's legs it has hard plastic caps for easy gliding when moving. I found it to be noise free when laying and rolling over on it. I paired it up with an affordable memory foam mattress also available at Walmart for a nice comfortable, affordable multi-purpose bed. At day it serves as a place to comfortably sit as it is roughly the height of a sofa so I placed some throw pillows against the wall and it mimics a daybed. This bed frame is more affordable than others and with it serving it's multi- purposes of foundation, box spring and storage this frame is a home run for affordability, comfort and storage needs. This review is for the twin size bed frame. Construction of the frame is of excellent quality. The welds are neat, there are no sharp edges anywhere and the black paint finish is flawless. Setting up the frame for use only takes a few minutes. Unfold it, then unfold the legs, then unfold the leg braces and attach one end with a wing nut and you are done. When the frame is set up it is sturdy and does not squeak or groan when you lay on it. There is no need for a box spring with this frame so the frame is higher off the floor giving you 13” of storage height under it. This frame also works perfectly with an inflatable air mattress. So if you need an extra bed at the holidays for guests this frame will fit anywhere that a twin bed would fit. After your done using the frame it stores easily in a closet or the garage because it folds down to a compact 39” x 39” x 4”. Best Price Mattress® Dual-Use Steel Bed Frame/Foundation - Multiple Sizes It was time to up grade my 14 year old son from a twin to a queen mattress due to his size. I was given the opportunity to try the Best Price steel bed frame made for platform beds and more. What was great about this frame is it came in the mail in a medium size box that weighted about 36 pounds. The box was small enough that it would easily fit up a narrow staircase. This frame by far was the easiest frame I had ever put together. My son and I put the frame down in the middle of the platform beds outer frame and it fit perfect. The bed came with flimsy slats that had already been broken. The frame is super sturdy and works great with my sons 10 inch memory foam mattress. The frame gives even support to the whole mattress no box springs needed. He loves it! No squeaks or movement from the frame and it holds this 6 foot 185 pound child with no problem. I used a full size bed frame to set into a queen size platform bed. It's a keeper. Easy assembly, durable steel construction and great price. You can't go wrong with this frame! I am absolutely in love with this bed frame!! Made of steel for durability, not too heavy, easy to get out of the box, then unfold and set up. Easiest bed frame I have ever in my life assembled and I am 70 years old. I used to fight with the old style frames and was always stubbing my toes on the legs while making up the beds. NO MORE! Once I had set up the frame I added the mattress and it is PERFECT! Not only easy to set up, but it adds storage under the bed. With the old style frames, no storage and I couldn't even clean under the bed without moving it. Now, I can actually run my vac under the bed. LOVE IT! There are two photos below, one showing where I am folding it out to set it up, the other with the frame set up and ready to use. I have never had anything so easy to assemble and yet it is sturdy, well made, no sharp edges on the legs to hurt my feet..haha. This is the twin size, but you can get this same frame in multiple sizes, my next one will be a Queen. I will never go back to the old style bed frames again. This is a must have! We had been intending to get a twin bed for the Man Cave/Spare Room, but just hadn't gotten around to it. When I got this, my husband was out of town, and, assuming it would require tools and some knowledge of how to set it up, I left it in the box for a week until he came home. When I opened the box and pulled the frame out, I felt so dumb! One piece, hinged so that all you have to do is straighten it out, snap the locks into place, and voila! You have a bed frame! It is solid, well made, very, very easy to set up, lightweight, easy to move around--it was something that I could do entirely on my own. It's a basic bed frame, nothing fancy, but good for an extra room that anyone could use. Once the mattress was on, it was comfortable, and my cat sincerely approved of all the stages of setting up and turning it into a bed that she apparently thought was meant for her! I think she'll have to share it with my husband though; it looks like he's going to be using it for afternoon naps.

This is a terrific product. I found it easy to put together. Its very strong, not that cheap aluminum garbage that bends and breaks. There is no need for a box spring with it. I bought a gorgeous memory foam mattress from Walmart a couple years ago and put it on top of this bed frame and it fit like a glove. I also had a extra large area under it to store items. Way more space then your usual bed. Because there is no box spring to take up that 8 inches, there is extra space underneath. The bed will remain the same height as any other normal bed. I thought it sort of looked a little "industrial" and would not want this in a room full of fancy furniture unless I had a long bed skirt on it to hide it.

I received the Premium Smartbase Platform Bed Frame for review. The bed came in a single box, about 3' high. The bed frame came in one piece & folded in half. It was light weight & easy to move. Would be great for students & other people who move a lot. I unfolded it upside-down on the floor, & the middle legs were already standing. There were two more sets of legs to lift up. Each of those four legs had an arm that locked in place with a wingnut to secure them. The legs feel very secure & I don't feel the bars in the middle (if you've ever slept on a sofa bed you know what I mean!). From the photo, I thought the frame would have springs -- or maybe I just assumed it, but it's just heavy wires. My mattress just had a standard foundation with wood supports, so it's the same. With my mattress on top of this frame, my bed is the same height as it was with the foundation & standard frame. However, with this frame I have 13" clearance under it for storage. Yay! There are no headboard or footboard brackets, but there are holes on each side of the corners. I believe you can purchase brackets. The frame is light (for me), easy to move (for me), easy to put up & (presumably) to take down, provides extra storage. I have only slept on it a few nights, so I can't see anything about longevity, but it seems sturdy. I don't feel any wobbles & I'm a wiggly sleeper. Some people have mentioned weight in the reviews, so I will say I'm around 260lbs. I comes with a 5yr limited warranty for manufacturing defects.

i never even recieved this item. hard to review when i never recieved it. refund was supposedly issued but its been two weeks and i havent recieved that either
