I find I don't use this as much as I thought I would. I tend to tailor my manicures to what works better . . . and this really isn't it. Don't get me wrong! If I did the whole "pile on the builder gel" thing it would be a fairly quick way to get rid of that hump between each manicure . . . but I don't rock that way. I do *thin* layers of foundation, builder gel, color (1 layer on the tips) and top coat. Redoing the manicure is simple, sand down through the color layer, fill in, re-add color, apply top coat, done. Having long nails isn't my thing so humps of builder gel isn't what works for me. One thin layer of each is all I need for great looking nails.
