I can't tell about functionality because I wasn't able to use it, it wasn't compatible with my ice maker lines. I didn't check the type of connection I needed before I ordered it. But, I can say that looks like a very well made product and it's much easier to connect than the one I need, can be installed in seconds with just an existing 1/4" line pushed in both ends.

These filters fit my Whirlpool refrigerator. I ordered them on line, the filters arrived on time and installed one of them. (the other is a spare) No stress, no driving in traffic to the nearest big box store. Good product at a decent price.

I'm not sure it's doing anything. It doesn't really say what it's filtering and it's also sold as a polishing filter for a reverse osmosis system so I don't think I'll buy it again. I can't taste any difference and the water tested the same as the unfiltered water.

Put all product fail to work properly. Dispense carbon into my water Maker. Both filters were tried and both filters. Failed very, dissatisfied, won't use that provider again
