Folks, this is a work shirt. It's made for people who actually work. If you're looking for a shirt to go to the coffee shop and look cool in, while you use your device to figure out which (D) will give you the most free stuff, it's not for you. The price is low because the people who actually pay for the free stuff are wearing this shirt - it's what they can afford. If you are a productive member of society then you will wear this shirt a lot, you'll break it in, and after many months you will enjoy what becomes a soft denim shirt; but you will need to earn that softness and style first.

I wear this shirt either working or just going out. It IS heavyweight yet breathes and I am never hot in it. I do not wear it over 70 degrees but up here that is not a problem. I ordered this one size larger to allow for some shrinkage. Glad I did.

Shirt is high quality...just very stiff, kinda like burlap...definitely a wear over shirt...very thick ,good work shirt!

So, the popular comment about this shirt is the over-starched look and feel. I must admit, it's a bit intimidating once you open the package. However, we plan to wash the shirt before wearing as suggested by one customer; repeatedly with fabric softener. The reason I bought the shirt was because of the color. The shirt quality is evident when you look at the stitching. The look is great.

The fabric is a little heavier than other denim work shirts as it should be in my view. I like a shirt that has a more generous fit and a little longer length as this one does. The only thing I was not satisfied with was that the bottom was merely sewed over the edges to keep from fraying-probably with an overlock machine instead of a proper hem. I will be hemming it over myselft.

Each shirt was different as to fabric (or at least the 2 I tried).... One was super heavy and thick like it was overly starched and the other was light as to fabric, after contacting the Rep from Wrangler who was super nice and very, very helpful, I gave up the ghost as I'm 3XLT and the shirts came in as 3X (probably my fault-thinking I was ordering 3X TALL)..... I knew immediately after trying on the first shirt that something wasn't right.... not long enough to fit within my pants and the snaps were not easy to open and close as I thought and expected as I have a problem with feeling in my hands....

Immediately out of the package I noticed the fabric is incredibly scratchy. I tried it on and it felt like I was wearing sandpaper. Additionally the sizing is beyond bad. I bout an XL however this was like an XXXL in some aspects. The sleeves were so long they covered my hands and the torso nearly looked like a mini dress on me.
