love these boots they are light and comfortable to walk in i did order a half size smaller and they fit perfect but i am an old school biker and these boots are the closest to old school engineer boots i could find, the only thing i can see to make them better would be a composite or steel toe.Great pair of boots i will buy another pair of these boots.
These are the classic 1949 vintage style engineer boots like Brando wore in the classic The Wild One movie. Since companies like Chippewa and Carolina have stupidly discontinued this classic style from their product line, Dingo is one of the last companies to keep this classic American boot style alive; thank you Dingo. Please note the picture of the boot Walmart has posted is not correct. The sole of the Dingo Engineer boot is not a "lug" style as pictured; which is good in my opinion since the true vintage engineer boots did not have big ugly lug soles. Leather on this boot is good quality and boot appears to be well constructed. Fit is comfortable right out of the box. Boot seems to run a bit big like most boots so you may want to order a 1/2 size down. I wear a 10.5 but I ordered a 10 in this boot and it fits good for me. You may experience different results though. Hopefully Dingo will continue to make this classic Engineer style and NOT discontinue it like other companies that don't seem to care about keeping American footwear styles alive. What I liked and what I dislike about this boot: Likes: 1.) Classic 1949 Engineer boot style. 2.) Leather seems to be rugged and thick. 3.) Comfortable out of the box. Has padded foot bed. 4.) Sole is vintage style and not modern ulgy "lug" style that tracks in mud and dirt. 5.) Price is reasonable for a heavy duty 100% leather boot. 6.) No steel toe just like the originals in the 40's. I really dislike steel toes on vintage styles so Dingo hit a homerun by keeping this boot vintage correct. The leather toe on this boot is rigid though. Dislikes: 1.) Buckles are not chrome but rather cheap painted gray. Chrome buckles would look more vintage. Please make the buckles chrome and complete the package! Don't skimp a couple dollars Dingo. Do it right and put chrome buckles on this boot. 2.) Leather is not as shinny as I would like. Leather has a mat/dull finish. Overall this boot is a great product and I would highly recommended you purchase a pair for yourself. Buying from Walmart on-line was easy. Placed order on-line in the comfort of my home and it was shipped right to my house in only a few days.
Great boots for the price
Too small, but seemed very good quality so I reordered larger size.
Good construction Of course right fit can be a problem anytime footwear bought online.
This boot will hold up well riding your bike.
Fast shipping and very nice boot
My orders were delivered earlier than expected and were exactly what I wanted.
Boots are nothing as pictured. Dont have lug soles. They are smooth soled.
