Hanes produces the finest quality briefs and 'Beefy-T' shirts. I wouldn't purchase from any other supplier.
High quality briefs. Excellent value. 97 cents for shipping. I'm on a fixed income and it's difficult for me to travel, so I really appreciate your service and all-around low cost!
Like a lot of reviews, you have to buy the next larger size because they fit tight. And they're not that comfortable. And they are thinner than they were in the past. Like most manufacturers today, they think people won't notice when you lessen quality to try to keep prices low or charge more.
I have been wearing Hanes briefs for many years. I preferred this product when you purchased according to your actual waist size rather than by general description such as medium, large etc. This being said the briefs I received appeared to be somewhat sloppily made with small pieces of seam fabric having not been properly trimmed. The large size was slightly big even though my waist size is 38 and the product is designed for a range of 36-38. I was able to correct the problem somehat by putting the briefs through a hot wash cycle, and now they are acceptable. It appears that Hanes and most manufacturers products are now more variable in quality than in the days when they were made in the USA. This being said I would probably continue to purchase Hanes products.
I expected thicker fabric from Hanes, the Cadillac of men's underwear. Like Wal-Mart's denim jeans and their T shirts the fabric has been manufactured so it's thinner. I have 10 yar old Fruit Of The Loom Underwear that's STILL thicker than these are. Hanes has stopped sewing labels in the pants like everyone else has. That's just smart; I wish they did it years ago. Sometimes the labels can irritate you. I miss the "mom" type in the Hanes Commercials:" They don't say "Hanes" until I SAY they say "Hanes". Hanes used to be the premium brand, now they feel like cheap, common underwear like everyone else.
Don't be fooled by the picture if you are looking for the old waistband style. They ship you the same briefs with the current waistband that Walmart sells for cheaper.
The information states the the material is pre-shrunk. Wore them one time fit great, washed in cold water and they shrunk a whole size, now they do not fit
I wore them and I ended up throwing them away. While this brief fits just right on the waist, it fits so loosely in the groin area giving me the feel that I was wearing boxer short. The fabric was thin and it felt worn out even though it was brand new. This brief was NOT well made at all - the stitching was literally getting undone. I bought three packages of these in three separate orders. I will return the two unopened bags and will discard the open one. VERY disappointed. My wife said I got what I paid for.
My husband has been wearing Hanes for years and he has never seen a pair made with such thin fabric. We returned them to store. Price was right but product was not.
Products still not delivered on time. Products are still not here. Why are Walmart's deliveries consistently delayed and not shipped as indicated when ordering and paying?
