[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There's nothing technically wrong with these socks, but they also don't really blow me away in any way. I went ahead and marked them as 4 stars cause they are a solid standard sock. But the name having “Athletic” in it doesn't quite hit the mark. More of a basic cotton feeling sock. They definitely fit on the looser side, not compressive in any way.

these are very good but overcharged on Wal-Mart. Paid $7 more than retail sticker on the socks that said $20. Will find another source for the next order of another color.

I really enjoy gold socks and we buy them every year and these came in and they had a hole in them right around the tow I guess because the way they packaged it was really disappointing because we replace them every year

I ordered these for a few reasons. Goldtoe socks are known to be of superior quality, I thought they were still made in the U.S, and I wanted a cushioned sock to wear inside my boots. A bit disappointed since they are now made in Honduras and the band width at the top of the short crew are so tight. I have thin ankles and yet these socks were so tight. on top of that they hit you with a shipping charge that I didn't notice until after I ordered them. All around a bad experience and a waste of (a lot of) money.
