I have had nerve tumors on my feet for years. While benign, these tumors are uncomfortable and even painful. The athletic shoes I used to wear created additional discomfort. After I got my first pair of Sketchers Alley Cats I realized immediately that the discomfort was gone. There was no "break-in" to these shoes and they are inexpensive. Until I no longer have to deal with these tumors, I will wear Alley Cats.

I have bought many pairs of these shoes and they are a daily wear for me. I have a extra pair or two in the closet in case the shoes are not in stock when needed. I get about 6 months out of them and then the leather cracks. But I still enjoy wearing them.

I love the style and look of this particular shoe. I mainly wear them with jeans since they are on the casual side as shoes go. They are perfect for a night out on the town, or for a casual hike in the woods, walking on the beach - they are versatile. They are very comfortable. I have a wide foot and most shoes do not fit well - I have to get shoes too big just to accommodate the width of my foot. This is the only shoe of it's kind that I will wear. I've tried many other brands such as Lugz, Caterpilar, and Doc Martens, but this by far is my overall favorite. However, I have noticed the canvas style of the shoe I got is no longer sold in stores. I do not like the smooth/shiny leather style. I was ecstatic to see you still sold the canvas style Alley Cats online! Please continue making this style!!

I've had foot problems my hole life. I tried many many shoes and never have I found a pair that felt great out of the box. These have made a big differance in my life of foot pain. I also got a pair of Skechers Mariners for work and are just as comfortable. I am now a life long wearer of Skechers. Thank you...no I really mean it, THANK YOU!!

My husband loves these shoes, he wears them for work (mostly outside and in snow/ice through 4-5 months out of the year) and for casual wear. We do need to replace them about every 6 months, but that's to be expected when he wears them everyday and is quite hard in them.

This is my second pair. They look good and are comfortable, but the first pair wore out more quickly than I thought they should. The upper leather material cracked and a hole formed after about 18-months. I decided to try another pair because they are comfortable and their was no other similar option in dark brown

Shoe look good and comfortable. After the first wear the plastic between the toe and instep is loose causing that area to appear white. I like the shoes but will not purchase again unless the problem is solved. This is not the first this has happen. My last two purchase prior to the this order same situation.

Horrible Shoe Strings! I bought these to use for a special occasion and I could not walk more than 100 feet throughout the night without having my shoe strings come untied. They even came untied after I double knotted them. The old pair that I bought about 25 years ago came with leather shoe strings. These now come with some type of odd material that does not tighten up. I emailed customer service (reference #35365) for order #183375 for help and its been over 10 days as of today and I still have not received a response from Stacy Adams. I only had the shoes on for a total of 5 hours and the white string around the shoe is already coming undone. They also gave me a blister on the outside of my left ankle. I had my last pair for 25 years and they have held together all that time. I might just return this new pair if I don't get any assistance from Stacy Adams.
