[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second pair of this style love the ease of putting them on and the comfort and functionality of the shoe.
Probably the best of the Froning X series in terms of all around gym and CrossFit functionality. Snug fit makes it perfect for transitioning from Olympic lifts to WODs. And the color is way better in person!
After reading a few reviews online regarding this latest Droning shoe, I noticed that a lot of folks were saying that it runs a bit narrow and also that you should "size up." Despite these warnings, I still got it in my normal size. Well, the shoe came in before my graveyard shift so I decided to break them in at work. OMG, soon as I put them on... It felt tight! Tight and narrow! I freaked out, thinking I'd have to return these shoes. Fast forward 4 hours... Sure though, these shoes loosened up. After my shift, I noticed that these shoes were true to their word: these shoes fit like a glove! That's my preference. I'm so glad I got them! P.S. If they feel tight at first, give them a few hours to loosen up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent fit and finish would definitely buy again easy on & off and comfortable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these shoes look amazing, but I honestly wouldn't work out in them. Definitely size up! I think the uppers padding tightens everything a lot. The toe box no longer feels wide compared to other nanos and it is too slim.
Shoes are comfortable Used for high intensity workouts Moving and jumping around Lace locks DO NOT work whatsoever! Customer support said they will exchange them after they receive shoes back Hard to workout with no shoes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe fits very well and is great for lifting weights. But the "laces" don't tighten well nor do they stay tight so doing athletic movements such as changing direction don't feel good and my foot moves around in the shoe a lot.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really loved this shoe when I opened up the box but unfortunately it fit too tight on me!
If you do functional fitness that involves pushing sleds, pass on this shoe. Even with minimal weight on sled, your heel will NOT stay in the shoe. With the integrated lacing, can't even come close to getting it tight enough to stay on. All other lifts/movements, it's a great training shoe for inside the gym. Be aware all the reviews stating narrow toe box are correct, and order a 1/2 size up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these shoes for Short runs Hit workouts Squats/ deadlifts The shoes never stay tight enough for short runs and hit type workouts.
