I was worried about the thickness of this jacket due to the price. You can never go wrong with sherpa lined products. This coat is all around amazing. Not a flat cheaply made coat. The puffer holds it appearance of looking puffy while staying warm. This is not a coat that makes you feel puffy while wearing it either. The color, hat, good zipper quality are definitely worth it. I would recommend and buy again in the future.
I wore this coat today to test it in 30 degree blowing wind weather. It kept the wind out. I was comfortably warm and wearing it inside the store, zipped up, for two hours, was still comfortable! Not warm or cold. Just comfortable. I love it and have ordered another one in red.
This coat is attractive and comfortable. The pockets are great. The lining has kept me warm and protected from snow freezing rain and sub zero wind chills. It is lightweight, but protects in thd wind. I got one for mydrlf and another for my grandson. We both recommend for this very chilly winter.
Right out of the packaging this item looked and felt great upon the touch. It was exactly want I envisioned a puffer jacket to be. Loved the way it felt, when I put it on. It was true to fit (2XL) and will be perfect for those yucky, inbetween type weather days. 2 thumbs up if your in the market.
They did send us a medium, ordered a small, but it works. lining is soft, and it's a good coat for late fall/early winter in PA. It looks like a more expensive coat, i was pretty surprised. My son is pleased that it smooshes up enough to be shoved in his backpack. It is full of books, so relatively little coat space. If you have similar weather...40s mainly, some 30... once we hit the 20s I'll make him switch to the heavier coat, which does not smoosh up enough, but this allows me to delay that battle. Really surprised it is this nice at this price point. I might get one for myself, who can say.
I love the overall design. The pockets are surprisingly deep and slanted down so I don't have to worry much about things falling out of them. I try to keep the zipper up a little bit to. They are more comfortable and easier to use for your hands than a lot of other jackets. I. used for the Sunday were the temperature started out at 4 degrees and was at 7-8 when I left the house. It was the Sunday the Chiefs lost Patrick Mahomes to a knee injury. I only was outside for a short period going to my car to go to my son's house. But had to wait 7-8 minutes for my car to warm up to melt the frost off the windows. My hands almost froze to the steering wheel but I stayed warm otherwise. My only complaint is the outside shell could be of a heavier material.
I love this coat! The color is awesome and it is extremely warm. The length is just below my hip and covers my behind too! Great pockets and warm sherpa hood. It seems to be a bit snug when i wear thicker clothes like hoodies and sweaters. Great for the cold New England weather.
As far as warmth I thought it was great. We had 2 degree weather for a few days but I was warm. Also I really liked the hood. My problem is with the overall construction. The linings of the inside jacket and of the pockets were loose, as though the lining was of one size, used on any size jacket. Within the first week the left side pocket zipper caught the inside lining and jammed. About a week later the main front zipper jammed on the inside lining. I couldn't free the zipper to the pocket nor main zipper. I finally had to pull the main zipper apart, breaking it, in order to get the coat off.
Waited for over a week due to tracking saying it was on the way right on up to the day AFTER the delivery date and then it said it was lost. Tracking never changed from shipping location. Would have been nice to know sooner so I could've ordered a different one for my son instead of him having to go without it. The following day it said it was probably lost! Tracking has now changed and it saying it's going to be delivered. I already got a refund so hey, maybe he'll get it after all lol
Bana- first one came late by 5 or six days. didn't think anything bad. bad storms. had to return it, wrong size. easily done. got another one. watched the tracker say it was shipped, HOW EVER, The USP tracker said it had label ready. and still hasn't gotten it, as of the 9th. it was due to be delivered on the 8th. FOOL ME ONE SHAME ON ME. FOOL ME TWICE SHAME ON ME. you guys don't have your act together.
