Glad to find these. Only thing the hubby wears with his boots.

I have been wearing these for several weeks. The are essentially compression socks that reach the knee. I have an knee replacement which keeps the and lower leg an foot in excess fluid - swollen. These socks have 80% solved that problem. I wear them 24hrs/ da. Other health problems keep the lower leg with excess fluid. So I get a 2-fer.since that problem is mostly solved also. Only complaint is the toe needs reinforced. I already got a hole in the big toe area of one sock - much too soon. Fix that and they would be perfect.

These are more like a crew sock. They do not have a heal, but they are shorter than most other tube socks. My husband has a size 9 shoe size and these socks are shorter than most crew socks.

Ordered these because son prefers grey socks over white to wear with his work boots. Unfortunately a few of these socks were about 3 inches shorter than the others. They could no longer be a tube sock, just a slightly longer crew sock. Would not buy again

These are not ‘over-the-calf' as package states. Maybe ‘over-the-calf' for a young boy. They only come to mid calf on my husband and he does not have heavy calves. They are cushiony but do not stay up-always falling down.

Calling these "heavy-duty" is a stretch. They are thinner than I expected from the description. The price per pair should have been a clue. I'll probably return them and look for better quality ones. Disappointing for the Fruit-of-the-Loom brand, but if you look closely at the packaging, they weren't made BY Fruit-of-the-Loom, they just licensed out their name. What a crock!

The socks were different lengths and too short to be "over the calf."

why do they ruin these things. they would be fairly ok if they did not have a thin rubber elastic band in t he top cuff area. That's nasty on the circulation. Far too small of an opening. only t he skinniest calves would fit this. the tightness and the thin rubber band are just so bad for circulation. It's not that hard to knit a wide cuff and have that whole thing elasticized instead of this baloney.
