Meowfia Cat Cave for Large Cats, Black Aqua

A gift for my sister's new kitty. Jane ( the kitty) has become a lazy lounger in her new home. She appreciates the wooly walls where she files her nails several times a day when she's not napping or high on catnip. The abode is well made and quite fashionable with its polka dot theme. All in all a total success.

For the first few days, all 3 of our cats were fighting over turns in the "egg". After a few weeks, less fighting, but the egg is occupied at least 2 hours/day by someone. We got the Medium and our 12 lb cat fits inside. Only one cat can use at a time.

My picky little calico loves it, and I'll tell you what, she doesn't love much!😁😁

Very cute! Bought two and am posting the same review for both. I wondered which size to get, if you are too - I got the large and it gives a lot of extra room for my 12 and 14 pound cats (a MED would have been enough). If one cat would actually let the other inside with it, they would both fit inside snugly…but they want it for themselves. Once inside, they vigorously defend the opening against invaders, lol. One cat found out they could step on top and collapse it upon the cat inside hahaha! The wool is very thick and substantial but did have a chemical-like smell upon opening- I guess from the dye. It mostly aired out nicely outside in the sun. I also put it through a steam refresh cycle in the dryer to get its shape fluffed up and it didn't shrink. It also came with a cute little wool ball! Because it's warm now , I have collapsed them for kitties to lay on top. Very pleased with this purchase: cats like it, entertaining for me, and the material is well made and study.

My cat halo loves her new cave! She immediately jumped right into it and started playing with the little blue ball that came with it. She is a 10lb domestic shorthair and I ordered the large. This size was perfect! I would assume the small would be better for kittens/small breeds.
