Mercer Culinary Ultimate White 8" Chef's Knife (Commercial)

You know a good knife when it can cut tomatoes with ease. This knife indeed does that. I'm happy with my purchase. Be careful when washing it to only pick up by handle since it is extremely sharp. I haven't resharpened mine yet in 3 months and it's still working great.

This is a good smaller kitchen knife, very sharp, lightweight and sturdy when cutting food. Definitely recommended for anyone who is looking for a dependable budget kitchen knife.

Not sharp enough plus got dull very soon

I have another cheap Mercer knife, so I figured this would be just as good. Unfortunately, it isn't. The blade is extremely dull brand new, and even after a lot of sharpening, struggles to cut an onion. I'm baffled at how bad this thing is.
