I wanted to buy a not-expensive laptop for $300 - $400 with the following main parameters: quad-core CPU, 16GB RAM, 400-500GB Disk. As I found laptops with such parameters produced, for example, by Dell or HP usually cost ~$650 - $700. So, I was pleasantly surprised, when my search reached Walmart where I found exactly what I wanted - Gateway laptop, but with the price of $299. It is just unbelievable! Right now, Walmart increased the price up to $399, but it's still quite good for a laptop with such configuration. Regarding my order, I had no problem to order the laptop online. Initially Walmart estimated a delivery time on 11/16/2022, but in reality, the laptop arrived to my home 11/11/2022.

Just love this laptop! Delivery fast, well packaged. Setup extremely easy as prompted right on laptop screen once booted up. Just enough software for medium users like myself. Don't understand review comments regarding screen because I find it bright and clear. Nor did I understand the comments regarding the keyboard as I find it smooth and responsive. Computer is fast in all tasks. I'm hugely pleased with my purchase. Thx Gateway and Walmart!

I love the size of the screen (was using a Surface) and the color. The only difference between this laptop and my desktop (other than screen size) is the hard drive size (desktop is bigger) and I was surprised at how much faster my desktop is than the laptop. The laptop still has good speed but just not as fast. This laptop is only used for 1 program (that runs my cutting machine) and works perfectly for that so I am a very happy camper.

Purchased this laptop 5 months ago......noticed a very small space to the top left-hand corner of the screen, almost unnoticeable. A couple months after using this device, noticed the space got a little wider and up to now it still keeps opening. At the time of purchase, there were not many reviews on this product, but now after reading some reviews, I realize this product is actually faulty. Upon purchasing, I was given a one-year warranty, so I am hoping that there will be some sort of compensation for the inconvenience.

i looked at the reviews and was aware id eventually have the screen start letting loose from the glue which it did. However thats not where the issue came in in february and within warranty my keyboard went out then my laptop wouldnt update so i called support while on the phone with them i barely got it to finish updating which then the mousepad also went out. the person sent me an email to send in information they wanted photos and videos of the issue the serial number the model number a description with the email of the issue even though i had already provided it all over the phone. my video apparently did not send and instead of informing me i had to call back in order to find out which i immediately sent that was 3 months ago and no box has been sent. i have not heard in email or phone and officially will never buy from gateway again as i easily found and told the man on the phone the issue so now i am going to have to spend $50 plus tax to fix my own laptop for a simple battery change that was still under warranty when i originally called because i fear if i even send it back to get fixed at this point that ill never get it back. to anyone wanting to buy this dont just go buy hp atleast anytime ive had issues with product of theirs they've been quick to resolve the issue and with much less back and forth (as in a single phone call).

Bought this for my 2 children for Christmas. Tonight screen started falling out each time he opens it. Looking at reviews it seems to be an issue. Bought the same laptop for my other son, and Christmas morning when he opened it it didn’t work. Would not turn on, no fan noise, nothing. Spoke to Walmart Customer Service and they would not replace because - no explanation other than the system wouldn’t allow. They would only refund, and would not allow me to purchase a replacement at the same price I originally paid ($299 on 11/3). Said it didn’t fall within their price-match policy. I had to pay $100 extra to replace a broken item they sold me.

So i bought 2 laptops, one as a gift and the other for me to use at home. One of the laptops never turned on so returned to Walmart. That should have been my sign to return both but I kept one. Five months after purchase, the screen is loose like they didn't stick it properly then on the 6th month, it is only rebooting. What a waste of money and I am not in the US to return it.

The Worst Laptop I've ever bought. Looking at the specs I expected a decent laptop. The only positive I can offer on this laptop is the color. The scroll pad doesn't work properly. It doesn't respond right and you have to press really hard and it still can take 2 or 3 tries before it works. I read reviews before purchasing and I should have listened to some of the bad reviews. The laptop is slow. And, six months in, the screen literally fell out and landed on my hands while I was typing. The edges of the screen were really bright like someone was pressing on them from the very first day, right out of the box. I am guessing that it was too tight to start with and that's what caused it to fall out like that. I don't know. But, I have never had a laptop do thus before. And the bottom of the screen broke when I was trying to get it back in. It will randomly just shut off. Full charge and just shut off. Now, it is seven months old and it won't even turn on. One week in, I wanted to send it back and I should have. This laptop is truly awful. This was my first Gateway laptop and I will never buy another one. This is the worst quality and performance of any laptop I have ever owned.

Very slow. Scroll pad doesn't work right. I have to do it multiple times to get it to work. I was going to return it but waited a day too late. Cost over twice the price of my Lenovo I was replacing and I regret it. My first Gateway and will be my last. Very disappointed in this laptop.

Ordered this laptop because of the speed and RAM. It is fast, however i've had this laptop for just over 2 months and the screen is coming apart from the laptop case. I tried to do a return/exchange, but it says i'm out of the window to return! REALLY, 2 months! I purchased a NEW laptop to avoid having problems for many years to come............NOW THIS!
