[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new 2018 Samsung QLED Q9F tv just blew me away and is better than any television I have ever seen! There are so many new and exciting features with this new product, but I'll just talk about my top 3. The first new and exciting feature is the new invisible connection that not only delivers the video signal, but also the power as well! This means that there are no longer 2 power cords, one for the tv and one for the One Connect box. The set up is quick and easy with very minimal wiring. I was able to connect my 4k DVD player, netgear router, and even my amazon alexa! With the Smart Things app, I was able to turn on and off the tv with my voice! Another cool new feature is the ambient mode. You can take a picture of the background behind the tv and upload it to your tv, so when you turn off your tv it will blend into the wall of your house. This is especially cool if you purchase the no gap wall mount! You can also make the tv display a slide show of pictures, the weather, time, or a whole variety of other choices. If you're worried about the electric bill, just turn on the eco mode. The last thing that I always love about Samsung TVs is the brightness and color contrast. There is no other tv out right now that can compare to the QLED brightness and colors. There are so many settings and options as well to customize the tv to your viewing preference. You can optimize the tv for gaming by turning on "game mode" or change it to the "movie mode" for your HDR and 4K movies. I purchased/installed my Samsung QN65Q9FNA TV October 1, 2018 to replace a 1 1/2 year old OLED TV. After just over 4000+ hours the OLED TV suffered from annoying obvious permanent burn-in. After a little over 2 months, I can say without hesitation, I am very pleased with the Q9FNA TV. The picture quality is amazing, and it is a TV I hope lasts a long time. The fact that Samsung has this great TV, that I no longer have to worry about burn-in, no matter what I watch and for how long, is a big relief to me. I could go on and on about the great specifications and features but, other reviewers have outlined them better than I could. The Q9FNA in my opinion, is the Best of the Best. Thank you Samsung for taking the worry out watching TV again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 2018 Q9F has been an absolute joy to be able to get my hands on and put it through the paces threw video games movies 4K and 1080p alike and absolutely all of the images have been absolutely wonderful and stunning. The picture quality is superb beyond anything I have seen the overall brightness of this TV is one of the biggest selling points is the Brightness with views from all sides. The full array makes letterbox movies not a hassle to watch or an annoyance with a white glowing everywhere and within the settings themselves there so many different settings to make it customized to your overall viewing of what you prefer from contrast enhancer to how bright you want each different level to be. SmartThings is a breeze to setup it was amazing and simple I didn't have to do anything except if I wanted to add something interesting information the setup process is absolutely simple, no one should ever have a problem going to the setup if they have the application ability on their phone such as a smartphone. Game mode on my q9f was a very interesting feature how it took over the control of the TV to improve game lag and overall picture quality! I was very hard on the Q9F I played it an average of 8 hours with different types of sources and to be honest it is held up 100% fine I do not notice anything that has let me down throughout this entire review the price is absolutely Justified for a flagship model within a brand that carry some of the best products regardless of what division. So this is the optimistic geek signing off and saying that this signing off and saying that this 2018 Samsung q9f television is absolutely worth the asking price and worth the experience of owning and enjoying and sharing for years to come with family and friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll make it simple: I am amazed by this TV! Setup was a breeze via the mobile app, and the One Connect Box gives the area around the TV a clutter-free and very clean appearance (no wires!). The OneRemote and Universal Guide make controlling and managing apps and connected devices very easy; I was even able to set it to control my older home theater receiver, which is connected to the optical audio out, just by entering the brand name. It also functions as a SmartThings hub, so I can check on my POWERbot robo-vac and other devices from the couch. But by far the best thing about this TV is the PICTURE--I can't get over how incredible 4K video looks! (And even 'regular' 1080p looks really, really good.) The blacks are black, the whites are clear white, and all of the colors are just amazing. And fast motion in movies and games is clear and judder-free, thanks to the 240Hz motion rate. When we moved into our house, we configured a room upstairs as our 'Movie Room'; we now have a display worthy of the name.

High dynamic range is brilliant . The highlights leap from the screen. If you want the best image with awesome contrast with no risk of image retention or burn-in. Get this Display!!

I just purchased the QN65Q9F FLAT 65” QLED 4K UHD 9 Series Smart TV for our living room in our new home. It was a very about this purchase because we wanted to upgrade to a high end smart TV. The quality of the 4k resolution blew me away. The contrast and sharpness of the vibrant colors make the picture jump off the screen. The Samsung QLED 65” TV has a single cable connection called One Invisible Connection. This is a super thin wire that is easy to hide. This cable leads to the One Connect Box that connects to all of your devices. Now you can have all devices in one convenient location and it's much easier to hide your cables. The TV has very cool integrated features. One of my favorites is the voice activated remote. I didn't think I would use this, but it's so convenient that I use it 80% of the time. The TV has also quick access to a number of different apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.), so it's easy to watch your favorite shows from any content provider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of the Samsung Q9F TV was with the physical appearance; It is very thin, but it was way heavier than it looked. I would definitely recommend having two people to get this set up, especially if you plan to hang it up. I love the thin slick design and the One Connect. One plug in the back of the TV and one fiber optic line to connect from the TV to the Once Connect box. The box is the control center to the TV and other plug in attachments such as a game system and cable. No more lines to hide in the wall or cords to see. This gives the TV a very independent appearance. Not having cords down the wall is wonderful. Very smooth clean simple look. You will need a location for the One Connect box to rest upon. When turning the TV on, the moving pictures were amazing. The remote is great. I love the way it works and the way it feels. It is silver and has some weight to it when you hold it in your hand. It is not some black plastic box. Putting the batteries in is also pretty sleek. There is a slide button on the back and the batteries "pop up." Also, regarding the batteries, they are provided with the TV. The remote also has a talk feature. One of the best ways to really appreciate the color technology on the TV that we found was to search YouTube for a video to test out the "4K LED black level" We were able to find a demo video that does just that. It is truly beautiful! Very vibrant and smooth flowing colors explode across the screen. A few other features that I found that I enjoy is the e-manual that is built right into the TV. No more books to look through or get lost. It is easy to navigate and search for the information you are looking for. The ambient mode is also something that I enjoy. I work from home often and I like having the TV, but at times it can get distracting with the news and TV shows. Setting the TV to the weather or headlines on the ambient mode gives me a break to have something to look at but not get so distracted. It is also nice to use to show off the TV when you have company but are not currently watching the TV! I also like the eco sensor and screen brightness. I like that it reduces the power consumption when it is not needed. Overall, this Samsung Q9F LeDTV is very impressive. The colors are amazing and the overall design with the One Connect makes for a great TV.

I'm on my second set now. The first one had occasional spontaneous restart issues (sometimes not for days, other times 2-3 times in a single hour!), as well as the ambient mode (sometimes!) turning off the set after exactly 60 seconds. When it developed a thin horizontal and vertical line - it was time to go. New set - no lines, great picture, BUT.... same power issues. I've unplugged everything, factory reset, verified it's running 1103 firmware, but no dice. I think I might just have to return it for a refund - not sure why I'd try a THIRD time (doubt it'll be "the charm")

I had my TV for all of a week and a half before it began powering itself on and off. I called tech support and was told there was an issue with the One Connect cable and that they would ship a replacement within 5-14 business days. I wasn't happy with that response considering how much I paid for the TV but I didn't have any other options. I followed up today (day 11) because I hadn't receive confirmation the cable had shipped and they tell me they're behind because of the holidays. The cable hasn't shipped and it will take another 5-14 business days. I call that poor customer service. For the week and a half I got to enjoy it, I loved the picture quality. I also like the One Connect box - it makes connecting my home audio, Apple TV and Blue Ray player super easy. The ambient mode was touted as a great feature but mine didn't work consistently so I wouldn't purchase the TV based on that feature. As it stands today, I rate this product as poor.

I bought this TV a week ago and now it is turning itself on and off regardless of what being displayed. The frequency has become to a point that it last on for few seconds. I tried to get online help and following all power cycling troubleshooting steps and latest firmware update but nothing helped. I'm utterly disappointed with Samsung for such a bad TV for such a high price. Paid over $3000 to have no TV. I really want to return this TV for a full refund. Done with Samsung as I bought this TV to replace my my ES8000 TV which developed vertical lines.
