Overall seems best choice.
Have tried most breads. Merita old fashion seems to be more consistent with soft texture and good taste. Get a loaf sometimes with holes that you wouldn't want to put condiments on. Seems all bread companies have lowered their standards for one reason or other.

Great tasting good job
Just grab a couple slices of this and enjoy because some times you just have to satisfy your craving in my opinion this is best tasting loaf of bread just have to say job to the makers of this bread it is just great.

It was fresh. Very soft and tasted great. I grew up on this bread. Walmart does keep there bread updated.

SNOW, but still delivered!
Missing 4 of my (5) orange glucose tubes that hold 10 tablets each. It was snowing and I was surprised to receive anyi of my order. Please just give me a credit for the missing items.

My favorite bread!
Merita white bread is my favorite. It works well for a sandwich, french toast, and toasted cheese. It also lasts way past its expiration date, in my experience, especially in the winter when the air is very dry. But, the best part is the aroma! As soon as I open the bag, I smell yeast just like the bread that I made from scratch decades ago when I had a family to feed.

GREAT TASTE WHEN FRESH
When this is fresh, I love the taste, the softness, and the multiple uses. Easy for making sandwiches and toast.
