Merkury Innovations 1080P Smart Wi-Fi Camera with Voice Control - Requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

These camera's are great little tools to have in today's world! I recently purchased two of these, one 1080p, and one 720p, there's not much of a difference in the two of them. I have them in the window's for security reasons! they do a fantastic job shooting through glass! I am very impressed by them... This company has a very knowledgeable customer service as well... Tip: Make sure to peel the plastic off of the lens, or your QR code won't scan... The picture of the grills is the 1080p and the car is the 720p...not really too much difference..

two years ago, November 3, 2020 after a lot of criminal activity, I decided to invest in a security system, but being disabled I couldn't afford much November 3, 2020 I went into Walmart hopefully looking for a cheap fix did I know that it wasn't going to be a cheap fix over the last two years I spent just over $250 considering the price I decided to jump into it. I now have five cameras 1 is auto tracking 1080p pictured I have three of the black which is 1080 P and two white which are 720 P I would strongly suggest getting the 1080 P they're 3 to 4 dollars more but well worth it you have better visual in both regular and night vision then you do with the white, which is only 720 but you do have both regular and night vision. of course you have to have 2.5 Internet it does not take the 5.0 but that's OK. I have both in closing if you feel very unsafe if you feel that your children are not safe from either a babysitter or some one somebody's going to break into your home or your apartment this is the way to go and before I forget about it don't worry about getting a mini SD card you can if you want but I have all of my cameras set up to go to the cloud that way if someone does break into your home your apartment by going with the cloud they can tear your cameras apart, but going to the cloud it will keep it there until you use your phone or your tablet and then you can watch it knowing and thank God you didn't have a mini SD card in there or they could take it out but again that's up to you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Merkury Innovations 1080p Smart Wi-Fi Camera was very easy to install in our back enclosed porch. It has a very wide angle and set up was easy. I have other security cameras on my property, but this is by far the easiest to set up. The night vision is very clear and the wide angle picks up a large area. The motion alerts are very helpful.

It's medium sized, not Itty bitty buy and not super large. This is a great thing for me to have and helps with me not worrying so much. My husband who has health problems and trouble getting around, this little device helps with when I'm not home in case something was to happen. I love how I can be gone and look 9n my phone and see the room it's in. I also love how it has 2 way talk. So I won't have to phone him and vise versa. Uts a good thing to have and I love it. Video Quality is good as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this camera and it's perfect for my home. This camera helps me to see what my family is doing while I'm not home. I love how this camera is voice activated and how it connects to my android phone. I love that they have 2 way audio and that they're small and discreet. They're so easy to set up. The microphone is clear and easy to hear from both talking and listening from a good distance away. The camera unit itself is bendable so it can be adjusted while on the wall or table. Quality of images is superb during day and night with or without light and it worked great with night vision. Also, sound quality is amazing when tested and used 2 way. The video quality is pretty good. Motion and sound sensors are sufficient. I also really love the fact that you can go on the app and see what's been recorded on the camera all day. Easy to download the phone app and use it once downloaded. My favorite is the night vision and how clear you can see things. I also liked knowing I could tell if any intruder came in. You do need to get an SD card to record the video on the device but you can record a clip you are viewing and save to your phone which is handy. it's really good footage you can put a memory card in there and it is lasting when on motion recording not continuous, you can format it when it runs out or watch it again on the Geeni camera or a device.

My micro-sd got stuck inside the camera's sd port.

I disliked the honesty about actual product. I received some knock off. not to mention the camera that was sent only works off your hotspot. Not your normal wifi.

Bought this with high hopes. Did exactly what was said in the directions but it would never get to the step of "blinking quickly". Tried for over an hour. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but this device would just not complete it's pairing to the app. As per the instructions, I attempted to get help online. No response from the company. I called the 888 customer service as per the instructions. I selected the "I would like a callback" option. First time no callback. The next two times they called me back and hung up. Then the next time they called, they let it ring one time and hung up on me. I called back and attempted to talk to a representative and when they answered, they hung up before I could say one word. I have over 3 hours of my life invested in this device. It's going in the trash.

i got one of these cameras for my apartment and it worked fine. I paid for the mygeeni subscription so i would have the footage backed up which was great UNTIL i didn't need the cameras anymore. We moved out and eventually were gifted new cameras so we were done with these. I realized after a month i was still being charged so i went to cancel the payment and it is nearly impossible to do. I tried to cancel through PayPal and they had no information for the payment and it is impossible to get in contact with a real person through merkury innovations. I eventually just had to call my bank and submit a stop payment form. So just be careful if you don't plan to use these long term
