started using multi spectrum white lights, (happy lights) for several years. extremely helpful in the winter with S.E.D.. and I love the portability.

I have been doing therapy/counseling in the mornings and use it to both calm my anxiety and for that little kick to get me out of bed during these gloomy mornings when the sun takes a while to come up. Not something I'd use in the spring or summer but definitely during the winter. The device is really sleek and easy to use though the power button on top can be a bit tricky to see at first. I was pretty cynical before using this but I do feel something happens though I can't explain it. I have strangely been sleeping like a rock at night so apparently it's doing something right. I usually have insomnia but haven't since I started this. Usually I'm forcing myself to bed around 1. Now, I'm exhausted and falling asleep by 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This light is very compact,slim and portable with a small footprint that fits easily on a desk.It allows for different light levels,as well as a timer,which is very helpful for light therapy.I usually use the medium setting and will turn to low at the end of my session. It brightens the space and my mood. It might be emotional,physical,chemical and/or psychological but it stimulates.I used it for 15-20 minutes daily at home. I definitely feel a difference in my mood when I use it. It is very useful when you are stuck indoors and need a boost in your mood. We have certainly recommended happy lights to our friends and family and will continue to do so.

The lighting feature is great for setting a calming mood in my room. Can also help lift the mood especially during winter time. A lot of options to change the settings to accommodate your needs.

The instructions provided make it simple and set up is no problem. I love the light features. This has been a great addition to my work space, especially during the cold winter and grey months. I frequently work late into the evening and this light has helped with both calming and energizing my moods. I would recommend this lamp!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using this Energize Light Therapy Lamp. The light itself is made of sturdy plastic. It's thin and has a small footprint, so it doesn't take up a ton of real estate on your surface. Don't be fooled by the size though because it for sure puts out a LOT of light. I actually find it so bright, I usually use it at a lower setting and it's still very bright for me. The buttons to operate it are clear and easy to see, but I find them not as responsive to touch as I expected. I need to sort of hold it and press to “press” it more often than just touching lightly. It comes with the needed power cord with plug attached to the cord. I've used this mostly in the kitchen where I feel like I spend a lot of time and her doesn't have adequate natural light. Also considering the time of year when the sun is out less and it gets darker earlier, it's been really nice to have to brighten up the kitchen and my counter as I work making meals for my family, or cleaning, etc. With pretty regular use, I can say I'm not any grumpier when I use it. I'm likely more happy because of the light, and more productive. I've enjoyed having it brighten my days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work from home and with winter, it's often dark before work and dark after work too. Catching sunlight most days is next to impossible. This lamp absolutely makes you feel like you're outside, minus the weather and bugs! The USB power source is convenient, but I do wish it had a battery option. My desk doesn't have a free power outlet available so I had to run the cable from another area and it looked bad. The buttons can be a little hard. I seem to press to softly or too hard but they work on the second or third try. The light is very well made and sturdy. I appreciate the different light colors so you can pick the light temperature and brightness intensity!
