Bought these to take with me to the Patagonia Region of Argentina. Was there for 15 days at the base of the Andes. They were super comfortable, kept me dry, and warm. Put on a lot of rugged miles. Love 'em. Tom
Once you figure out the fit their perfect. I alternate between these and a brown pair that I've had for a few years. My brown pair has hiked through Germany and are still holding up great. Love these shoes. Also looks good with my black pants and shorts.
Perfect fit, perfect size of shoe. Without a doubt, this is the most comfortable and effective low waterproof shoe I have ever worn (AND, I have worn many!!!) Highly recommended. Paul Pearson
The colors look amazing in person, I bought as a gift for my boyfriend, please make the dark green and brown version in women please n thank you! He finally knows what good hiking shoes are like! Thanks for the great quality. I think there too hot for summer personally, but there my favourite winter boot
I have had over 15 pairs of Merrell shoes and boots in the last 20 years and the Moab collection is by far the most comfortable of all. There really is a reason that it is one of the best selling collections of boots in the world. And the icing on the cake is that they stand behind what they sell. I love my Merrells, Period.
My wife and I take mission trips around the globe to share the Gospel of Jesus, I had a couple severe ankle surgeries several years ago and the Merrell MOAB are the best support, with the most comfort boots that I have found. Having them completely waterproof is an added bonus because we are walking through some questionable areas of "water." I have worn Merrell MOAB for about 8 years and the MOAB 3's are the most comfortable I have tried by far.
These hikers have been remarkably consistant performers over the years. They are comfortable and provide great support over a variety of terrains. At times, I have stepped into a creek or walked across a dewey field. The hikers kept my feet dry as long as I did not get into water that was not too deep. The boots come in a variety of colors.
Great comfortable shoes - Protect ankles from scrapes, soles are grippy!
Toe box fit was smaller than expected. My foot blistered up like crazy first week. Hiked half dome and boots did fine with grip but left blisters and my foot was wet after i took my boots off leaving it pruning
I am extremely disappointed with these boots and their claim to be waterproof. I recently walked The Cumbria Way in the UK, and roughly 2–3 km in, the route passes through a farm field. Within thirty seconds of crossing it, my boots, socks, and feet were soaked — forcing me to unexpectedly stop, dry out the inside of the boots, and change my socks. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these boots were sent as replacements for an initial pair that also failed to be waterproof. Two pairs, same problem — which suggests this isn't a one-off defect but a fundamental issue with the product's waterproofing. I expected far better from Merrell.
