I love my Merrells. I live in these and replace them every 6 months or so. They fit my narrow foot, offer great support, are very comfortable and function for general knock around shoes as well as serious walking shoes. My only complaint is that the tread picks up gravel, which I tend to track into the house, but not much to be done about that other than wiping your feet.
Last year I was involved in an accident that left me with a severe ankle injury...six broken bones,, and an open fracture..two operations. I developed some foot issues also. These are the only shoes I can wear that allows me to continue my outdoor activities.. Fishing...long walks. I can stand for a longer time while fishing in my boat... I highly recommend these shoes if you have foot or ankle problems.
Finally found a Great shoe for me. I have neuropathy in my feet and the Merrill hiking shoes are a great stabilizer for my feet. And I can get most in wide. I'm hiking again ! plus the colors are nice too.
Finding a wide shoe that fits well is so hard. It took me years of wearing different uncomfortable shoe brands before I put my foot down and said NO MORE. I asked the google machine what companies make shoes for people with shrek feet. I found Merrell Jungle moc. Fell in love. Then I dipped my toe into these god like shoes they call Merrell Moab 2 Ventilator wide width for my nightly trail walks with my 2 Hundur's. Thank you Merrell for actually caring about the products you make. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I do competition BBQ, BBQ Events, and training courses. My feet would hurt at the end of the day wearing either my boots or my tennis shoes. The Moabs provide comfort and stability for the full day. In fact when I first bought them we went to New Orleans and I broke them in walking 75 miles in a week trying to burn off all the food calories :-). Never a blister.
This is my 3rd pair, the last ones had about 3,000 miles on them. They fit right, break in with no issues, and hold together,
I have been wearing Merrel Moabs for ten years at least. The comfort and fit are just right for me. However, the last 4 pairs have all fallen apart prematurely- the Rubber part around the toes is breaking down way too soon, so I will never buy another pair of Merells.
Horrible shoe. I have 5 other MOAB's over 7+ years that I love/loved, but this one has something seriously wrong with it. The cushion insert is "rock hard" and does nothing to improve cushioning. I literally feel all the the sole's exterior knobs with every step. Substituting a Doctor Soles insert did little to help. A lot like walking barefoot over gravel.
These look like te ones I bought with the mesh est but the colour is different. The shoes lasted until they fell apart... meaning they were made to fail. There was no information on the package that the heals were hollow! Now that they have worn down a bit, my money needs to buy another pair, but never Merrell. This is the new preferred USA business way of selling fake quality! I DID NOT KNOW BEFORE THIS I COULD ADD A PICTURE HERE WITH MY REVIEW OR I WOULD HAVE... OPPS EVEN A VIDEO. WELL SO MUCH FOR ME.
I bought a pair of these in December 2021. 3 months later, the eyelet on the top of the boot completely came apart on my boot. The sewing of the eyelet completely let go. This would be my 6 pair and my last pair of Merrell shoes. I will definitely look at other brands. Terrible quality control and no warranty.
