Merrick Grain-Free Dry Dog Food for Seniors, High Protein Real Chicken & Sweet Potato, 22 lb Bag

I switched my old dachshund/lab mix's food almost 3 years ago to Grain Free. She was on a premium Core diet her entire life and developed the typical fatty tumors. I wasn't having it. Tumors removed and I switched. She had much more energy and life to her. The senior formula came out and it was a no brainer. The fatty tumors are minimal!!! She's 14 and is a pet therapy dog for a children's oncology. She helps to heal. Thanks Merrick for giving my dog a lot more life for all to enjoy.

We had been looking for a grain free,senior food for a year or so(they have been eating merrick for 2 years now) the others would either make one dog itch or another vomit or they would just hate it. This one is the goldilocks. It is a bit pricey but they eat much less than with the cheap filler foods. We combo this with the merrick wet foods. no one gets sick and every ones tails are wagging. plus the added joint health makes them feel better too!

I have 2 Rat Terriers 11 & 12 years old and I switched them to this recipe from the standard recipes about a year ago and they are just thriving on it. They are still as energetic and active as have ever been. No one believes their ages. Great Product!

Switching our 10 almost 11 year old Amstaff to Merrick Senior was THE BEST decision my husband and I have made! She has regained her lost energy to play back & LOVES playing with her "babies". We tried a few different senior formulas from different brands and she never seemed interested in playing with her toys anymore. She would get small bursts of energy every now and then, but mostly just wanted to lay around & nap. Thank you Merrick!!

We adopted Bella our 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer in June, 2017 from a Schnauzer rescue in MD. We fed her Purina Small Breed at first but after reading reviews from Dog Food Advisor about Merrick Senior we switched over in July, 2017 and continue to feed it to her. Her bowl movements are great and she loves it. We did have to cut back on portion amounts to allow for the Merrick treats she begs for.

My finicky old boy loves it. And Though it says for large dogs, medium or even a small- medium dog can handle the kibble size.

I have a 14 year old lab who is very picky, she has hip issues, however with Merrick high levels of Glucosamine and Chondroitin and Merrick Bone Broth, she is doing great!! Her coat is shiny and smooth and she goes for long walks again, gets up and down with ease!! LOVE Merrick !!

I didn't think twice about the brand of dog food to buy for my new puppy after I got over the grief of losing my best friend. Pip is following in Abel's footsteps and eating Merrick dried food brands .

Last November our 10 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix suddenly started to have bloody diarreah and for the next 8 months her condition didn't improve and we were running to the vet on a weekly basis, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Countless tests, antibiotics, probiotics, prescription food, bland diet etc. later, still no improvements. She was literally wasting away in front of our eyes and we did not think she would survive this summer. So in a last ditch effort our vet suggested to maybe try and put her on a senior dog food. We did not think it would make a difference, especially since she has been on high quality dog food all her life, plus neither the prescription dog food nor the bland diet did anything to improve her condition. We went to the pet store and they suggested we try the Merrick brand senior dog food. Within 12 hours, she had no more bloody diarreah and another 48hrs later, she had normal bowel movements. She packed on all the pounds she had lost and is energized and alert and behaves like when she was 5 (it's like we found the fountain of youth for her).  She has been on the senior dog food for a month now and today, even her vet was blown away at how alert and energized and healthy our senior gal is and how great she looks. Thank you so much for making such a great . It literally saved our gals life!

Liked the large bag but this stuff is way overpriced by Merrick!
