My Pomeranian Chloe has a sensitive stomach and she s super picky. She would not eat her food for a day or 2, then when she did eat she would get sick. After lots of research and buying expensive rx food for stones and blood in the urine and it not working this dog food helped more than any rx dog food. No more blood in the urine and my 3lbd dog loves the food. No recalls on this food and nothing negative out there. Great food.

My two 5lb rescue chihuahuas absolutely devour this food for breakfast and dinner. In the morning we add in a little of your wet "Thanksgiving Day Dinner" or "Grammies Pot Pie" to the mix which makes them eat it up even faster. The small size of this kibble along with the fresh ingredients is perfect for the chihuahua breed. Their coats are nice and shiny and they have no bowel problems or skin allergy issues at all.

We rescued a three-year-old Brussels Griffin poodle mix. He had tears stains that continued to get worse and worse as time went on. Nothing we tried worked. After researching We switched to Merrick small breed and the tears stains disappeared completely after two months.

I have been feeding Merrick for a long time. I trust the quality and where the ingredients come from. My little Chi's love it- so taste must be a factor as well.After all, this is what they eat day after day so I need to know they enjoy it too. My only concern is that lately it is getting very hard for me to find this online here in Canada.....I sure hope they are not discontinuing this as they did with the small breed senior formula! It really is hard to find a food for small dogs that meet my fussy criteria. This is my favorite food by far! I also feed the tiny cans once or twice a week to add variety also. And of course Merrick treats too! Please keep making food for those of us who love our little dogs, and need to feed them quality kibble that is also small enough for little mouths to manage! After 3 yrs. of feeding Merrick Classic Small Breed kibble to my two rescues it's time to say Thank You! I was so happy 3 yrs. ago to find a healthy dog food that Zoey did not throw up after eating. This little one was healing a previous broken leg and was under nourished. Your food provided the nourishment she needed to get & stay healthy & active. She is now a Certified Pet Therapy dog. My Yorkipoo is extremely picky. She will not eat anything. She loves this brand. The only bad thing is that it only comes in a small bag :(

I had to switch off Wellness because my baby got kidney stones. I tried every brand and he didn't eat. I ordered Merrick for both my babies ( 5 year and a new born) on the first try... they devoured it. I had to give them seconds. Now they love it so much they will not share their leftovers. I'm extremely satisfied.
