Mesa Safe 1.2 cu. ft. Hotel Safe, MHRC916EB

A very good product at a reasonable price. I have owned this same model for about 7 years now, and then decided to purchase another safe. This new one is exactly the same as the one I currently own. Both safes work flawlessly, and I have never had a problem with either one.

This is a nice room safe to put in an Airbnb rental room. How many trips have you taken where you wondered where you will keep your important travel documents such as your passport, airline boarding passes, spare or backup credit cards? Who wants to carry that stuff all the time while on a trip? This safe is perfect for the traveling visitor making the rental unit all that more appealing.

Easy in, easy out...this safe is a serious machine. It is build very solidly and feels secure. A simple code of your choosing gets you in, then simply punch in code again (or even change the code) to lock it. The packaging was adequate and it got to me perfectly intact. The price couldn't be beat either...it's a great value!

Very satified with this purchase, we're travelling in a motorhome and it keeps our personal belonging out of reach and view.

Came with some parts loose and screws out of place. Has no provision for low battery other than cumbresome key system. Primitive coding system. Only 2 mounting bolts/anchors provided, needs at least 4.

This Product arrived damaged the plastic part keypad on the front was cracked, although it was packaged with styrofoam it was small pieces not like it was made specifically for this product. Although the combination pad still worked, after a couple of openings door scratched paint due to alignment.. also you have to reprogram code every time you open it, (this would be normal for a hotel room safe would have been nice to have way to set permanently) although you can probably use the magnetic strip for a pass key never tried it.. All in All if you get one undamaged, and don't mind reprogramming combination every use would be good economic alternative.

This purchase has been a nightmare!!!! Walmart gave our order to 2 other businesses. We ordered a safe. It arrived not totally put together. We finished it , put in the batteries and it didn't work! We have tried for two weeks to return the item. Walmart told us to call another company. We did and they told us to contact another business. We did and they said it wasn't returnable. After fighting with them for over a week, they said we could, but won't give us the way to return it! We will not buy anything from Walmart! This means we our out of $250!

the safe looks good but works poorly. the switch would not lock the safe. called tech support but still would not work. thank god for walmarts great return policy.
