Mesa Safe Fire Resistant Security Safe with Lock, MBF2620C

Works great. The combo is a bit more complicated than what I am use to but I'll get use to it. Very sturdy.

Let me start by saying that I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this safe. Its all metal construction and mechanical lock make this a excellent choice for home security. This is a good size safe! It's 200 pounds and once its bolted to the floor it would be very hard for someone to gain access to the contents. The safe arrived on time and in excellent condition. The delivery person was very accommodating moving the safe in the house for me. It took me a couple of tries to open the safe but only due to my unfamiliarity with the lock. I only have two criticisms. The first would be it comes with only two bolts instead of four to mount it to the floor? Not sure why Mesa would think that is sufficient when the safe itself is set up with four mounting locations. The second would be it was missing two of the clips that the interior shelves sit on. Neither of these two things are major but are annoying in my opinion. If you are looking for a decent safe at a reasonable price look no further!

Safe appears to be rugged and does not dent easily. Which is good because the shipping company never strapped it to a pallet. The packaging, looks like it bounced around on the truck floor. Arrived with only minor paint abrasion on one side.

This is a good safe but the combo locking mechanism and quality control at MESA's assembly factory are junk. 14 months and 35 times used after purchase the combo lock seized up when attempting to open. 1st Mesa telephone tech was helpful. 2nd Mesa tech (after 1st suggestions did not work) was of no help. 2 months past warranty, I'm on my own. Thankfully my local locksmith was able to able to get in without drilling. He was surprised to see most of the internal screws within the locking mechanism not fastened down all the way. And even when all the way down the main arm still has a wobble allowing the dial to not spin as true as it should. Pros: Good quality build burglary/fire safe. Cons: Low quality junk internal dial locking mechanism. Short warranty period. Poor quality control during assembly.
